SAMSUNG 8GB DDR3 SO-DIMM Memory Module

"no complaints" is actually a better review than it sounds. I used this 8 GB DIMM to upgrade and bring a second life to an aging Lenovo ThinkPad. Installation was too easy and the price for this name brand DIMM was too tempting to pass up. Plus, it's the same manufacturer and part number as the RAM that originally shipped from Lenovo. It works perfectly. I'm glad these older, lower capacity RAM modules are still in stock at reasonable prices.

I bought these for my terramaster NAS. Jumps up the ram from 2-10 gig. Works great.

Ram was well-packaged. I appreciated that I could enter my computer model on Amazon and make sure the ram was right for my computer. Installation was easy: look on You tube for a video about how to install, then unscrew back panel, pop in the ram and click, and I was done. The ram worked perfectly when I started up the computer.For newbies: you must pull out the battery first, then press the start button for 20 seconds to release any static electricity. Then you can open up the back panel. That's what i learned from You tube installation video.

I purchased two 8 GB sticks of this RAM to install in my 2014 Asus G750JS. The OEM RAM in my laptop was 16 GB of Samsung and this RAM matched just with a later revision code. My computer recognized the additional 16 GB for a total of 32 GB installed. Everything is functional for my needs and desires. This used OEM RAM was a much more economical way to expand compared to a 32 GB set of aftermarket RAM.Shipping was fast and both sticks were very well packaged and protected. Everything arrived in a timely manner and undamaged.

I received this just as stated very happy about, but it hasn't improved the processing any faster than before I install it. Ut was real easy to install. I guess it was a little value in the purchase, but I was expecting a little more.

I have owned this model for 5 years. It works well enough that hasn't been worth it to replace it. I installed Lubuntu linux and got noticeable improvement compared to windows. The processor is dated obviously. I did add an 8gb DIMM (only 2 slots - had to drop the 2GB, for 12GB RAM now). Am even thinking of getting a cheap SSD but not yet sure if it has another SATA port or I'd have to disconnect the HDD. If you find a good deal this model could be worth considering but at the rate computers depreciate it might not be worth it compared to a more powerful model. I wouldn't bother with windows though, it is too slow for the more recent bloated windows versions.

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15acl that wasn't a speed demon to begin with. Add a few years and the mechanical HDD, bloatware and 4gb of ram combined to give me a paperweight that plugged into the wall. It took well over 30 seconds to boot and just add long to start up programs - sometimes hanging up for two minutes or longer. I dripped slurpee into the keyboard and now also gummed that up. I bought a replacement keyboard, SSD and this memory kit here and went to town. The official specs says it will only take 4gb but 8 works great. The laptop is now almost instant boot with the SSD and fresh stock windows 10 install. I think the ram kit is great especially at this price with prime shipping.

Works Great and was exactly what i was looking for. If you are getting this for a AUS ROG G751J model they will work just fine. I upgraded mine to 32gb and had to pop open the case and get under the key board to install the last 8GB installed but that was simple to do, and there are Videos online how to do it.If you have the Samsung M471B1G73QHO-YKO installed on your laptop you can still use the M471B1G73DBO-YKO (QHO / BDO) without any issues i am running 3 DBO with one QHO (all which are 8Gb same specs) and am running in Dual Channel mode and can see 32gb.Works well and definitely a good upgrade for any development or game machine.
