Mega Bloks Peek A Blocks Schoolhouse

This 'Mega Bloks Schoolhouse' is a great set to be used from 1 year old and above. The retail package is quite big and vibrant would definitely make a child excited...to be honest it made me excited and I'm 32 :D The box contains 42 pieces altogether, 2 peek-a-blok (2 animals that can do peek-a-boo) a school bus, a launcher and 3 slides and 35 bloks. The blocks are big and as others mentioned it, no need to worry about small parts that can be choked on. They are durable, clip together easily. There are no rough edges completely safe for the small ones. The box contains a guide to help you build the school house. This guide uses clear viusals so older kids can follow instructions easily. For a one year old...they will need a lot of help building this, altough I have to say my daughter really enjoyed just me putting the thing together, so don't worry if your child is not big enough to play on their own. In my opinion these toys are designed to be built together with parents/older siblings and are a great fun for the whole family. You don't have to follow the instructions, the 35 pieces are enough to create your own building if you got bored of the school house. Combine this with the compatibility of other Mega Bloks set and you will soon find that the possibilites are endless. The peek-a-bloks are a great idea, I'm sure kids will love it, but they will get worn down the quickest as they have moving parts. All in all it's really easy to recommend this set, it definitely helps your child learn different skills and how to follow instructions. Some sort of storage is essentiel for these especially if you plan on expanding the collection, it's a shame that no storage is included in the retail box. Bigger shame is that the box itself isn't very useful once you opened it, I definitely don't see us putting the blocks back in that box. But other than this I can't really find any fault with it. The price is always a personal opinion, it will always come down to the customer if they're happy to pay the asking price. I know I would as these look like they can be passed down to younger sibling in a few years time.

It's a very nice, colourful playset for youngsters with lots of chunky blocks which are safe size (no choking hazard from them).Blocks and other part are very good quality, toxins free, safe for children to play. Set comes with instruction booklet in colour how to put the blocks together and built schoolhouse. It's very easy to do it for older child and an adult but smaller children will obviously need a help. Its lovely idea to show them how to follow instruction, what comes after what. Building a construction together helps to create better bond with child, understand his/hers thinking and navigate to the right direction.This set have 2 pets and a bus to move around. I would say that the pet's wings are rather fragile and easy can get damaged with occasional emotional playing.I think one yearly old child will not understand as yet that blocks are for building, but 2 year old and above will be more mature to understand how it works and how to look after the toys.This playset include 40 pieces. Each piece is big so I think it's good value for money, especially when we can join other Mega Blocks sets and create something big.Schoolhouse blocks came in cardboard box, strong and eye catching but, as other reviewers mentioned, even I would add to it some storage bag at least.This play set would make a lovely gift for beloved child, niece/ nephew, grandchild..

Chunky Mega Bloks are an idea first building block set for toddlers. The size makes them easy to manipulate and there’s no small parts, so no choking hazards.There’s some nice features in this set, which vaguely resembles a school/playground complete with 3 slides and a school bus. The school bus is a bit of a disappointment, it’s tiny and looks like an afterthought but the kids love it anyway.The 2 rounded characters supplied resemble an owl and a dog, both have arms/wings that open and close over their eyes when placed on the lugs of the bricks or on top of the bus. It’s a nice feature that children find very amusing, especially as they seem to hold their hands over their eyes as they go down the slides.The blocks are compatible with all the other large Mega Bloks sets and once you see how much your child enjoys playing with these you’re sure to expand their collection.Would suit children from 1+ but obviously they will need help to construct the school house as it’s too complicated and they probably won’t be able to manage it on their own for quite some time.Price is reasonable and the box is large so would make an impressive gift, especially with Christmas fast approaching.Hope you found my review helpful

Pretty much every parent has played peek-a-boo with their little one. This incorporates this traditional game in to a fun and educational toy for your child. The box is quite large, bigger than I expected although I’m not sure why, as the clue is in the name (MEGA Bloks). Although I’ve never owned any mega bloks products before, I know that they are endorsed by Fisher Price, so as that is a brand I am familiar with and trust I felt that this product would be fun and good quality. And it didn’t disappoint. We have so far had hours of fun with it and will have many more to come.The peek-a-boo element provides a sense of familiarity and an instant connection to the toy, also. As it is a building toy, it encourages your child to be creative and use their imagination to build uncomplicated structures that will benefit them by further developing their fine motor skills.The colours are bright and stimulating for little inquisitive eyes.Lots of fun to be had with this toy, definitely recommendedWould make a nice gift for birthdays or Christmas 🎄Thanks for reading and I hope you found my review helpful!
