Olde Midway Stainless Steel French Fry Scoop with Right Handle - Commercial Fry Bagger Scooper

This scoop is sturdy and easy to use. It cleans up well and dries streekless. We use our “fry scoop” with a freeze dryer so there are bulky light weight foods to scoop and package. I am right handed and my husband is left handed so the removable handle is great. When extra power to scoop is needed, 2 handles can help as well. Sometimes the food gets stuck to the pan so we use the scoop to scrape it off and scoop it up as well. My one complaint is that it is wider than I would like since my pans are only 7 inches wide. But I get around that ok by Slanting it a bit.

Got this for left handed use. Also got a plastic version that was right handed. This metal one works better. We use them for scooping freeze dried foods off trays. The foods slide onto and off of the metal scoop much better than the plastic version. Will likely buy a right handed one like this one.

Saw this suggested in a video, and I use it often now. It seems a small thing, but it really makes clearing the trays easier and cleaner. Before I was always having to pick up stuff I dropped.

I bought this on a You Tube recommendation. It's good quality. I had bought another one that was the right size, but went funky after one round in the dishwasher. I'm using this one for chicken feed for candy cane feeders.

We belong to an organization that raises funds by cooking and selling food at various community activities within a County Park. They cook and sell large quantities of french fries and the Olde Midway Stainless Steel French Fry Scoop with dual handles makes it so much easier and quicker. This was definitely worth the money and would buy again.

Just planning on using for popcorn, the design may be better for thin fries.I'm really not sure about this item. It had sharp edges that could have been buffed or polished. Scooping out of a aluminum or sheet metal pan might result in scratches. Its supposed to help portion control and filling of small containers but that will take some practice.
