Protect yourself and your coffee!
I am taking a huge risk writing this review, especially on an unsecured connection, but my fellow caffeiners must know. This coffee will change your life, but do not let the government find out that you have access to such a powerful item. There is a reason this is called Banned coffee. I have gone to extreme lengths to keep my coffee hidden from the authorities. I am always sure to make my Banned coffee in a French press (or other purely mechanical coffee maker) to keep from alerting the government through all the CIA controlled drip coffee makers. Not only is the flavor fantastic on this blend, but you will become the most productive version of yourself and this effect only grows with each cup. An example of this productivity came when it was time for my fiancé and I to move. Two friends came over the morning of our move, only to find that we had not started packing yet. Long story short, made everyone a large cup of the glorious Banned coffee and we got to work. The move was finished in 3 hours flat (including unpacking at the new place). Mind you, this was a two bedroom apartment with a garage moving more than half way across the country.Just a couple last things to keep in mind; don't use CIA monitored coffee makers, and if made too strongly you may start hearing colors and catch glimpses of alternate dimensions.Good luck with your Banned coffee, I can hear them coming now and I must hide!tl;drBest stuff you can have for an energy boost without having to meet some shady guy in a dark alley.

So I'll finish by saying there are some hyper-caffeinated coffee's that taste pretty aweful. Yea the caffeine is there but you'v
Oh my goodness this coffee is the bomb!! I am a high school teacher which by my nature makes me a caffeine hound. I sometimes have events that happen successively. With going to bed late and getting up early and working an event that lasts 12 hours and doing it all over again the next day, sometimes you need help getting going in the morning. A Lot of help sometimes. I am always on the lookout for hyper-caffeinated coffee, and I'm not gonna lie, I have my staples, but I'm so hapy to say I'm adding Banned Coffee to my list of high test coffee's.So I'll finish by saying there are some hyper-caffeinated coffee's that taste pretty aweful. Yea the caffeine is there but you've still have to get past the taste. In my opinion what makes a hyper-caffeinated coffee work for me is good if not great taste and all the extra caffeine you need to jump start your day. Don't let "The World's Strongest Coffee" deter you. It doesn't taste like a french roast, but if you're caffeine sensitive, this 98% octane blend might not allow you to sleep when your day is over. Though the descrition on the back of the package is humorus, there is a fair amount of truth inside the silliness. Sleep is for the weak!

Excellent for ice brew.
Stupidly, I ordered this pre-ground. I treated myself to an SCCA approved drip system, a nice grinder, a nice espresso machine, so my hopes and expectations were pretty low for this coffee. This was all at fault of my own. But not wanting to waste my investment, I decided to crack it open and brew some up. I used 15g of grounds per 8 oz of spring water. I let the gounds bloom in 200F water for about 20 seconds. I took this mixture and poured over ice. Assuming I brew 16oz, this typically yields 28oz once you factor in you're pouring over ice. While I'm not a coffee connoisseur and cannot pick out the individual flavors, it was one of the better coffees that I have used for the iced brew method. It was smooth, on the low acidic side, with more than enough flavor to let you know this isn't your DD or generic iced coffee. I honestly can't wait to order some whole bean to coarse grind and try it french press and cold brewed. If I were to drink it hot, I'd cut down to about 10g of grounds per 8 oz of water because the iced brew came out very strong. I will definitely be buying again.

I enjoyed it. A lot of people compare this with Banned Coffee. Some even state that Banned Coffee has more kick, but in reality Banned Coffee has around 400mg of caffeine per serving and Death Wish has around 638 or 639mg of caffeine per serving, thus in terms of which has more caffeine then Death Wish has more, but it should be noted that people do not actually absorb as much caffeine in coffee as most believe. Rather coffee studies have been showing that the smell and taste of the coffee has a bigger impact on a person's perception on the boost they get from drinking coffee. I enjoyed them both actually. I thought the Banned Coffee brand had a better aroma, but both were fairly similar in taste, with Death Wish coffee being a little bit more bitter, but not overpowering bitter. As for which has more of a kick. I personally couldn't determine any significant difference. I also should note that I do not really drink a lot of coffee and for the most part don't like the taste, but for coffee they both were some of the better ones.
