Best whole-peeled tomato for pizza sauce. Period.
I've had to doctor every other whole-peeled tomato product I've used in my pizza sauce. Which these tomatoes, you can see the difference in quality as soon as you open the can. I simply puree them in a blender. Done. Best pizza sauce ever!

The best canned tomatoes…
These are the best canned tomatoes i have tried. I consider them a staple and irreplaceable. They can be used without any seasoning… wonderful as they are. As a starting point for any tomato based sauce or dish, these offer a beautiful sweetness and flavor that balances with their acidity better than other brands i’ve tried. Like i said, A staple. I have a case in the pantry at all times.

I read about these organically grown California tomatoes in an article in the New York Times, so we did a family taste test against imported San Marzano Roma tomatoes and our usual favorite, Cento. These won in a landslide! Fresh, bright tomato flavor, not too acidic, and packed in a rich tomato sauce. The texture in particular was outstanding. I could eat them straight out of the can.

Excellent taste
Tomatoes have excellent taste, are firm, sauce is not watery. Added tomatoes to pasta sauce with additional vegetables. Wonderful flavor.Bit pricey.

Several of the cans are badly dented and there is no returns
Buys these elsewhere as several came dented and attempting a return just leads to a page that says "this item is not eligible for returns." At this point I've paid twice as much per can because of the dented ones.

You can eat these right out of the can. Fabulous.
Even though the cans were packaged quite well, I have several dented cans. Not enough for me to worry about, but I just prefer my canned goods not dented.The tomatoes are fabulous. You get what you pay for. I make Marcella Hazan's tomato recipe which is three ingredients: butter, onion and canned tomatoes. For this recipe the ingredients have to be the best. Using the Boamcp tomatoes puts the sauce over the top!
