Rear lugage rack easy to fit and perfect quality .

Very sturdy once installed but should come with some longer bolts. 4 stars as cannot be 5.
I didnt need instructions to install as I am an Mechanical Engineer but some might struggle.On my Honda CB500X the plate arms installed underneath the grab bars but they do tilt inwards before tightening each four bolts gradually one at a time but keeping them slightly loose to pop on the plate.They did level out a lot with the correct circling tightening procedure but they should be at the correct angle before I start tightening. Tighten to full the bolts holding the plate to the plate arms.Then tighten to full the bolts holding the bike grab bars and arms to full gradually circling around.It just about with a tight squeeze fit into a standard small size Amazon locker. Thats on the delivery driver for not using a larger locker but item was still good in box and packing.Biggest negative the short bolts are far too short and the long bolts too long for this design.I used my own two M6 25mm bolts which seem about correct size. I used my own slightly longer M6 bolts to accomodate the spacer to get the correct amount of tilt for easy box usage and aesthetics.I used the default Honda bolts already used to lock down the grab bar for the plate arms.To sum it up the sturdyness is very good once all bolts tightened up gradually one at a time to get correct arm and plate positions. The Bad the bolts supplied are terrible.

Not as advertised
This isn’t aluminium as advertised and very heavy steel plate. It doesn’t fit Honda cb500x as advertised and comes missing bolts and spacers too. Avoid unless you have time to waste sending back

Motorcycle rear top box rack
It’s great quality, however I did have to modify it to fit my moped, I have a 125cc adly activator and cannot get a rear back box rack for my ped, I removed the plate and used an angle grinder to remove the metal that goes into a motorbike bike under the seat to fit my moped, as I bought a top box it came with a plate so didn’t need the metal plateHowever it is great quality, very sturdy

Fitting
As described there are no instructions supplied. It’s best to fit the side arms but leave them very slack. Then fit the back plate and tighten but not too tight. I found if the spacers are fitted the seat doesn’t click into position, so removed them and tightened everything down, and seat fitted fine. All good.

Justabout fits but needed work and will need attention
It is made of steel and not aluminium. Coating was damaged and needed re-spraying. When fitting it is difficult to get acces to the nuts and the small bolts are too small ( they pull into the holes and damage the paint). There is no recess for the bigger bolt heads so it has damaged the repainted finish. I have treated the damage around the heads with corrosion inhibior, but in hindsight I should have recessed for the heads before respraying or used washers.
