Perfect hood and filter
The Haoge LUV-X54W hood is perfect for the Fujifilm X100 vi. The finish is very sympathetic to the silver finish of the camera, gives good protection for the lens, and allows use of the original lens cap.

Just so stylish
Better than I could have expected. You can't tell that it's not made by Fuji, so good is the fit and finish. Stylish, practical and that UV filter is a great idea for protecting the camera lens. How good is the filter? No colour cast, the exposure is exactly the same, and it appears to be optically perfect. If you're attaching it to anything other that the X100V - I've got the F - then the Fujifilm metal lens cap won't fit, so you'll need to order LHX54W (/B for the black version). Worth every penny.

Weatherproofing for your X100VI. Best £25 I've spent on my Fuji Hundred Six.
Short version: best £25 I've spent on my X100VI.Longer version: I've had the Fuji OEM adapter and filter on order since I ordered my camera. The VI arrived; the former are still back-ordered. Although I was wary of putting non-Fuji EBC glass in front of the much-vaunted 40MP sensor, a trip to the Scottish Isles left me no choice but to buy a weatherproofing alternative to OEM*.*I returned another popular adapter, filter and hood combo because the colour was nowhere near close enough.AestheticsThe Haoge adapter is a very close match to the silver camera body. Its knurling helps, also to distinguish it from the aperture and focus rings, as the texture is different. Overall the Haoge looks part of the camera, not an add-on.QualityWell-machined with clean, smooth threads. The Haoge logo is white on silver and although it's at the top when the adapter's screwed in, is small and unobtrusive. Knurling is well-executed: grippy, but not snaggy on e.g. camera-bag loop linings.PerformanceTho' migrating from a full-frame DSLR, I'm not a pixel peeper and see no degradation of image quality through the Haoge protector filter. The glass has yet to attract fingerprints or dust, like good-quality modern filters by well-known brands. Being recessed likely helps.VersatilityThe built-in hood gives the front element some protection with minimum additional bulk. My ex-DSLR 52mm CPL and other filters fit the Haoge if I want to use them. I also use a vintage-style 52mm pinch cap (not centre pinch) which is understated, brandless, compact, works well and cheap, so I don't fret about losing it.Viewfinder?Having no cut-outs, the Haoge does obscure the optical viewfinder image slightly, about as much as the electronic rangefinder overlay in the bottom right-hand corner. I haven't found this an issue in practice. No problem at all using the EVF or rear screen, obviously. Not tested with a flash yet, but seconds to unscrew if it is giving you shadows.SummaryFor me the whole point of the swap from full-frame to the Fuji is significantly less weight and bulk. I didn't want to clart up my camera by over-accessorizing and the Haoge fits this bill perfectly. It feels like part of the camera. It's half the price of the OEM on 'order with' offer, and a quarter the price at RRP. The quality's great. And it's in stock. No contest. Best £25 I've spent on my new camera. I can't see myself thinking the OEM product is worth the extra when it does eventually turn up. I have no affiliation with Haoge and researched and paid for all products mentioned myself. Hope this is helpful to others.

Works great but too thick
Works great for lens sealing and matches camera nicely but it’s just a bit too much bulk for my taste and I often remove it due that reason as of makes the camera look less elegant. Would have preferred it be only as deep as necessary to seal the lens,,you dont really extra good for flare.

Shadow when using flash!! AVOID
This lens hood causes a shadow on the flash. Really poor design!! Feel free to refund me!

Excellent
This is an excellent, and considerably cheaper, alternative to the FujiFilm 'weather resistant' accessory kit which should have been supplied with a £1250 camera. It is optically clear, looks superb on the camera and should provide the same level of weather resistance as the OEM adapter and filter. The hood is seen when the optical viewfinder is being used but is almost 'blanked' off when the focus window is engaged.Cracking bit of kit which almost matches the silver finish of the body. The OEM lens cap fits perfectly.

Protection and compactness.
This is by far my favourite protection filter for the Fujifilm X100VI, it allows the camera to stay small and doesn’t add much more bulk to the front. And protecting it whilst still being able to use the Fujifilm lens cap is great.

Great addition for the X100V
Excellent way of making the X100V properly weather resistant with a quality product at a reasonable price. I’ve noticed no detrimental impact on image quality from the built in filter, the finish matches the rest of the camera well, and the original lens hood can still be used. I would buy it again.
