I got this shade to help block the setting sun. It’s easy to use and seems to be good quality

Been using this blind for two years now. Headed into the third summer. So far it is holding up well. Love it.

Relatively easy to install and works well to block sun (can't see through). The beige color is way more yellow/brown (perfect 70's color) than I liked, so I returned and got the gray. It's a much more natural color. There were a few imperfections in the fabric weave, but not worth sending back.

Design was "okay". Materials seem durable (mesh shade and rods). The roller clips could have been better designed to connect to the mesh shade with a different type of clamping mechanism, but again, it was "okay". Beveled wood screws were included to hang the shade assembly. Should have been cap screws to avoid the roller clips from slipping off. I replaced this design flaw myself with cap screws. Two of the three rods were missing end caps. It almost looked like the plastic end caps that were shown in the instructions had broken off or been broken off. Not a show stopper, but not suggestive of good production QC, either. Packaging QC DEFINITELY needs work!! In addition to the problem with the rod end caps, I was missing one of the screws for the cord tie off. Again, I was able to fix the install problems, but should have had to do that. I won't be buying more of these.

This shade has made early morning cups of coffee on the front porch so much more pleasant. No more eye squinting. I might avoid some future wrinkles. That's worth 5 stars alone! I assume the assembly was easy. I was at work when my husband sent a pic of the final product. So, I wasnt nearby to overhear profanity or witness a screwdriver sailing through the yard. I think the shade looks nice whether sitting on the porch or walking back from the mailbox. It's not a blackout shade. Your porch or patio will not become a cave. But it drastically decreases the brightness and heat factors of your space. Very happy.

This shade is so cute and definitely worth it. I can’t speak to long term durability yet but if I remember, I will try to update if anything significant occurs. I have a metal porch awning support structure so instead of using the screws, I used zip ties to hold up the little metal bits and that worked perfectly. It fit perfectly and went up fast. The hardest part was following the instructions to put the string in the right spots, but I did figure it out!Very happy with my purchase

Missed the return window and now have two pieces of patio art to appreciate as they collect dust in their boxes. One has broken end caps and bent rods and the other was poorly milled - the assembly holes did not align. Terrible quality control.

I needed this for my front porch nook which I use as my office in the summer when it isn't too hot in the ATL. It has just the right amount of visibility to allow the wind thru (so it won't rip off the wall) and block the sun. It looks great and I can enjoy the late afternoon on the porch.
