I bought these for my mother for a family vacation at the Disney parks to help her from getting too hot. Each lasted for about 35 minutes. We also bought an insulated backpack that we kept ice and other items in. What I liked about these was how easy they were to refreeze. When the one my mom was wearing would melt, we would put it in the book bag under the ice and it would refreeze. She was able to keep reusing them over and over the same day. She says she will also use it when she is working in her flower beds.

I wear this when walking my dogs and when doing barn chores. It does help make you feel cooler but it does not last (at least not in humid high temps) for 2 hours. It takes me about an hour to do my dog walking and barn chores and after about 40 min the benefit has petered out. I gave it 5 stars anyway because it does help and feels oh so good when you first step out into the heat.

These feel good and fit any size neck because even frozen they are both easily bendable and durable.Unfortunately, the cool doesn't last too long, and when it stops, these items become like an insulating scarf, retaining body heat and feeding it back to you. You have to really keep on top of it because the transition from cooling you to heating you happens fast.My partial solution is that I wear two at a time. I have a long neck but even for me, three is uncomfortable for an active person.My sorta-full solution is that I now have six of these, and I swap them out for each other two at a time so I can keep a constant cycle of cooling going. These are durable enough that the cost is worth it if you're a working person constantly subject to heat stress flattening you out. To me, keeping away from overheating is a health & safety issue. I'm no good to anybody else if I'm woozy from the heat and no good to myself.Note: These lose a lot of their cooling power fairly early. By the time the ice has substantially changed to fluid, you're already starting to insulate your neck with the heat of your own body. These things are nice, but do not work miracles. And they take longer to freeze to a level worth using than some might suggest. I'd say between 40 to 60 minutes to make the bluish liquid turn to bluish ice and then the coldest white ice, depending on your freezer. Forget the fridge, that's useless.Use them, enjoy them, but get plenty, and rotate them on and off -- and quick! Then you'll be getting your money's worth. If you only want to/can buy one or two, don't bother. You need a rotation of two at a time, truly chilled, or the effect is a weak flash in the pan.

Since I work in the heat daily, these are definitely helpful when I start to feel overheated. They arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I do wish they were slightly bigger, but they are definitely worth trying.

They worked ok. Stopped cooling after about 15 min. Luckily there were three so I would rotate. But key word.. “were”Left in my ice chest for like 2 days. When I went to put my ice packs in they were just popped. I don’t understand it. Anyway, I won’t buy again. Don’t last. Literally got 2 uses out of them.

I haven’t used these outside yet but inside they stay frozen for an hour. It’s hot in Florida. These are great for people being affected negatively by the heat.

Liked the cooling tube but unfortunately only last 30 to 40 minutes around your neck in hot weather.

I walk my kids to school every day and all three of us wear one of these to help stay cool. Also helps me save on our ac bill. They stay cold for about 30 minutes and then I swap for a new one. I wear them when running errands and getting in and out of a hot car. I tend to get headaches from the heat but these save me.
