eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE (PS4)

I was surprised about how good this game is after reading some negative reviews, but I think it is brilliant. I play mainly coach mode as it is the closest you can get to proper football manager. I did have pes18 which was also good, but this version has many improvements, for starters you have money coming in monthly rather than once a year which is helpful if you need new players during the halfway season. You can also decide where your income goes I.e transfer budget or players wages which you couldn't do before. You also see your manager in meetings with the board and you can decide how to answer them and the press at the start of a season. You have different weather conditions including snow! The actual matches themselves are very realistic and the details of players faces is very lifelike, great graphics. The way the players move, shoot and tackle is very good. The only complaint is the one that pes fans have already mentioned, that there is no red cards, only yellows (I might get one in time, I don't know). But that does not spoil the game for me, I've got used to it, hopefully one day, the game makers will solve this problem, but until then, I will enjoy this one.

The media could not be loaded. Its good i got the real teams, and no they dont give u the teams u just have to do it urself but its worth it trust me. Its a good game nothing wrong with it.

Wow! What can I say. When first booted this up, thought it would just basically be the same game. How wrong I was. Subtle changes and tweaks, but they make so much difference. The big thing to take away from this is fluidity, quick passing moves and counter attacks are now possible due to this. To up the skill and difficulty, I would recommend that you change passing to fully manual as there is so much freedom in where you can play the ball. You can ping the ball down the line for your winger to chase rather than using the unreliable through ball option. The catch up bug finally is gone. If you're mbappe vs a slow defender, then it's no contest, you will just blitz past them. Shooting has also been tweaked, shots feel less floaty, there is a wider variety of different shot types. Can't wait to see what konami do on next Gen. Referees are definitely still hit and miss and the commentary is unchanged, which seems to be lazy.But overall definitely worth buying. Konami please do not change the gameplay with data packs. They ruined last year's game. There's definitely enough here to tide you over til the ps5 arrives. The pesuniverse option file is a must to correct unlicensed teams. Very impressed overall.

Great game, like watching it on the TV. Free flowing football and all round better feel to the players AI. Easily worth a score!

Terrible game.Absolutely impossible to enjoy the game as the ai referee interferes in everything (imagine Mike dean on steroids officiating on behalf of Man utd but for every opposition)Any slide tackle regardless of how perfectly timed will result in a foul and more than likely a yellow card. Interceptions regardless of how perfectly timed will result in a foul.If you have the ball and a opposition player falls over near you the ref will blow the whistle and award the free kick to the opposition.In fact 95% of any type of fair tackle will result in foul.Go anywhere near an ai attacker in your box and the ref will award a penalty's for absolutely no reason and with zero contact.Any ai free kick within 40yards of your goal will sail right through your wall like they're invisible and go in regardless of how highly rated your keeper is and how tall the players in the wall are.The ref refuses to allow advantage and will always cut your attack short by pulling back play.Players literally run straight past the ball and just leave it behind.Player's make absolutely no effort to reach a ball 2 yard's away and will just stand there watching it go by.Players will just give up on balls that are more than arms length away.Players will just give up while dribbling and start jerking around like they're having a seizure until they lose possession under no pressure.All of these things mentioned completely ruin the game and prevent the game from flowing.So it doesn't really matter what the graphics and gameplay is like as the referee will not give you any opportunity to enjoy it.Garbage

Perfect game! Long hours I have played...

I dont upgrade my PES every year now because there is often very little between them, I have been on PES 18 for a while before getting this. So there were a few "surprises" for me, crossing and through balls are now much more difficult to get right, even with highly skilled players. Defending can be really tricky and the collision system is flawed, often when I have the ball, I get fouled and the opposition get a free kick. That can be frustrating, particularly when you are leading in a game and the scripting kicks in so that an AI with a 68 overall can bang in a worldie free kick from 25 yards. Also the ability to knock on the ball and run is now removed, it doesn't ruin the game for me, but it does mean I have had to adjust how I play. Its still playable, but its not a great PES, hopefully next year will be better.
