Excellent flavor
Great flavor and a good enhancement to a variety of dishes. Also adaptable to adding additional spicing, such as additional soy sauce, ginger and garlic.

Delicious, adds the umami to your meal.
The only sauce I use every single day. I have purchased 5 bottles in 3 years. I use it over my lunch salad daily, I put it over shredded cabbage and add a teaspoon of peanut butter powder. Delicious! A little salty, a little sweet. I also love putting a few drops into cooked rice, or basting grilled chicken. My only complaint is that the top always leaks under the rim, so the bottle gets sticky quickly.

Will not regret it.
I can't even with this stuff. So good.

Good flavor
This is a very good sauce. It is very watery though and doesn't taste much different from a soy sauce, just a little bit more depth of flavor. Good on top of stir fry and rice dishes. Big bottle, will last a while too with a nice pour nozzle.

Worth the hype
This is absolutely delicious and full of umami. It's worth the hype, and I'm glad I spent the $10 to get it and experience it.With just basic groceries being so expensive lately, I doubt I'll buy any more soon. But it's so tasty on stir fry with rice and makes it taste more like hibachi.I warmed up leftover restaurant brisket in a skillet and tossed a little of this on it at the end and let it caramelize, and it was outrageously good. My daughter kept trying to swipe it when I wasn't looking. It's amazing on mushrooms and just boosts flavor wherever you squirt it. Our preschoolers love it on chicken strips. The flavor is hard to describe. It's savory and salty like the sauce that comes with Chinese dumplings, but not quite that. And there are notes of barbeque sauce, but not heavy or overly sweet.

So good!
Love this sauce! I buy the frozen vegetables from Whole Foods and add this sauce to it and then add some ground beef! So good

OK at $7
This as others have mentioned is teriyaki sauce. It has a bit more depth because it has rice wine vinegar and mirin as well but it's negligible. It's a good teriyaki sauce, but not $12 worth. I was able to buy a few bottles at $7 and I thought that was a bit much. Maybe you're thinking the sauce with a reusable bottle is worth it, which is fair enough but I don't see it being something you'd put on everything and go through so quickly at this price point. I actually tried to make my own after I finished one bottle based on the ingredients listed and left out added sugar as mirin and rice wine vinegar have quite a bit of sugar and although good, it wasn't nearly as sweet as the original which tells me they add A LOT of sugar!
