Banza Rice is a favorite. It tastes better than long grain rice and cooks faster. I have used it with sire fried vegetables, for Spanish rice, fried rice, rice pilaf and more. It is great. We usually make a bag be four servings. That keeps the calories down. It is more nutritious than rice. It tastes better than brown rice (which I do not like). The product is unflavored. This is an advantage in the competitors such as RightRice flavor their legume rice offering and do it poorly. Banza Rice leaves the door open for you to season it as you like. So you control the sodium and such as well. On that, do not over salt the water as described in another review. You really need very little salt, and then simply use a more flavorful topping. It is indeed a bit like orzo, but that is a good thing. You do need to keep the heat a little low when cooking so it does not boil over. Rinse it after it is cooked using a small strainer. I have a strainer that fits my pot, so I just put it on top of the pot, fluff with a fork and done. I very much recommend Banza Rice.

Taste wonderful and is healthy as well. Great alternative to regular rice. My daughter is now 20, but she has been eating it for years. We both love it!

I’ve been using this rice for a couple of years. More nutritional value than other rices. Easy and super fast to cook. But use a much larger pot than you think you need!! It foams up impressively for a minute, it helps if you start at less than a full boil. I dress it up with basil and olive oil. It is more expensive than other rice, but I feel it’s worth it. A little like sticky rice, but great flavor

I don't know how the bottom Banza chickpea rice had a hole in the side. It was a meal loss for one of us, but the world keeps moving.Overall, this will not change my views now that I have tried the product.. but I will check all the packaging before I hurrily put them away next time.

I've been a fan of Banza's pasta for a while now and so I thought I'd give their rice a try and I loved it! It's easy to cook and the serving size per pack I think is better than their pasta. The best part about the rice is that it stays overnight really well, so I've started adding it into meal-prep for the work week - you can make so many different things and the meal is way better and more nutritious than if you used brown-rice.

Decent if you want a higher protein rice alternative, but get kinda gummy/mushy even when slightly undercooked in the centre.

This Banza rice is amazing! I’d never tried it before, but we got really burnt out on soggy cauliflower rice and I came across Banza on Amazon. I agree with the other reviewers, it does seem like a cross between orzo and rice. Upon cooking it for the first time, I underestimated how much foam to expect and ended up laughing when it spilled all over my stove. Kinda reminded me of a volcano school project kids do. But that wasn’t a big deal and I’ll use a bigger pot next time. The texture is amazing and definitely gave me the rice feeling I was looking for. The other thing is that it leaves you feeling SO full compared to regular rice! My wife and I both noticed that our portions have been smaller because chickpeas are so filling.One last thing, Banza has AMAZING customer service! One of the bags was damaged and they got right back to me and sent a new case. They also offered to refund my order but I declined since I love their product. I ordered the pasta noodles variety pack and I can’t wait to try them. My only wish is that they would make a fettuccine style noodle :)
