This boat is fast! It works well, I highly suggest getting an actual lipo charger from the hobby store so that it cuts the charging time down to like 20-30 mins! The graphics are cool but are very low quality. They are crooked and not completely flat before applied. The battery hold down is a major issue with 2 velcro straps that you can't reach. I had to stuff the battery well with some high density foam, which worked just fine! Otherwise I had a blast with thing. Iv driven other boats and for the price, I dig it! Keep it on smoother water for best performance!

I am pleased to report on my recent purchase and subsequent exchange of an RC boat I bought for my grandson’s birthday. I bought it in late May 2023, but didn’t present it to my g’son for his big day until the July 4th weekend when we all traveled to be together at a lake in Colorado. By that time, the boat was a few days over the 30-day return limit before it was even unwrapped. This was not the greatest planning on my part, I confess.The boat worked well for an hour or two but then the steering went out, leaving the toy afloat in a very large lake. The servo motor that controls the rudder had failed. And that cast a pall over the outing…disappointing to say the least. On the bright side, there are reasonably priced replacement parts available for this boat, so it was going to get fixed one way or another.I contacted Spreetail and laid out my story, throwing myself on their mercy because the toy was technically no longer eligible for return/exchange. Happily, Spreetail values customer satisfaction and they generously agreed to the exchange. I sent the boat back (on their dime!) and received a replacement just a week later.Based on this interaction with Spreetail, I must award them 5-stars for their customer service. The boat itself is still on probation..the replacement boat is now being forwarded to my grandson so that it can be stress-tested by an actual kid. Stay tuned for a review of the boat!

I bought one orignally but it stopped working after 2 times of use - could not control it with the controller, got stuck on high speed. I returned it for a replacement. The new one came but the battery and receiver in the boat were unattached and the controller also could not control the boat. After one use and trying to get the controller to work properly, which I knew how to do, I returned promptly. Amazon initially gave a refund that was 76% less than what I paid. After finally locating how to contact chat, I was told I would get a gift card credit of $48- still about $12 less than what I paid. I did bnot received the credit after a week so contacted Amazon again. They say they will credit my original payment method again for the $48 which takes 3-4 business days. Hopefully this will appear on my original payment method as promised. I order a LOT from Amazon very frequently so not sure why this was an issue this time. Never had any problems with returns before.

This boat is fast!! It is fun to play with but there are some things to know.It doesn’t have reverse!! The battery will last for about 12 minutes but takes hrs to charge. The operating range isn’t that far. And it doesn’t self right!! However, it does skip across the water. It is faster than a lot of boats in the same price range.

I was skeptical to buy this boat. I have been in the RC hobby for 35 years with planes and helicopters, so I normally only buy known brands. I kept debating between on brands here on Amazon for a low price rc boat for my pond.I got the brushless motor one and out of the box this boat is fast for a cheap brand. We get about 12 to 15 minutes of battery life depending on how hard you run it.After a few weeks I bought a second one to race my son. Recently I made a mistake and broke the propeller axel while the boat was sitting in my bed. I thought that was the end of the boat, but I was so happy to find that you can get parts on Amazon for it. We ordered the part, fix the boat and it is back running great!Just know, it is a toy and you have to do your part to take care of it.

This boat is amazing for the price. To get a ready to run boat for this price amazed me. It doesn't lie this thing rips. It does flip pretty often but I mainly use it out in the bay while I'm in my boat so that's ok, battery last a pretty decent amount of time and is plug and play

Was fun to use and was fast it just broke often with the propellers as they were plastic

I purchased this for my 12 year old grandson. He used it in the pool and on the lake. It is fast and can self right itself when it flips. The battery only lasts about 15 minutes but does indicate when it is getting low. Luckily, it come with a 2nd battery. He loves it!

Boat is very fast and super maneuverable. With in a half hour 10 year old was turning and stopping with in a foot of the dock at full speed. Probably not a good idea. Did need a minor adjustment to get full turning in both directions. Seems very durable and good range on control Goes into slow mode when battery gets low. Never needed to retrieve from lake. Best on flat water but does self right if it tips. Would not recommend for a pool as needs some space due to speed of boat. Comes with extra propellers and 2 batteries. Batteries last 8 to 10 minutes but take well over an hour to recharge. Does require maintenance every couple of hours of running. Propeller shaft needs greased and this requires taking the boat apart. Recommend an adult do the maintenance. Great toy for the price highly recommend for kids or adults.

Product was defective. Boat did not work. Internals inside the boat looked like they had corrosion on them. Loud humming noise coming from motor, trying to turn but wouldnt. Returned for refund.

Haven’t even used up the first battery and the shaft broke! Boat is now useless! A lot of money for 5 minutes of fun. My son is pretty disappointed :(

Sadly these toys are made poorly and won’t last very long. They work eekl, but firefly and their poor quality will leave you holding the only item of value - the remote. Boats are extremely disappointing and stop functioning quickly.
