Awesome! Must have for every motorcyclist!
I must say I was a little apprehensive buying it having read some of the reviews. But it looks like not everybody understands the way this TPMS is supposed to work. I have installed it on my Victory Cross Country bike and I am very happy that I bought it.Display unit: Display brightness reduces automatically after a few seconds. I think it is to conserve the battery. It shuts off automatically when there's no movement. No need to turn it off or take out the batteries. I was out on a sunny day with the sun shining directly on the unit and surprisingly it lit up the white lettering on the black background. The unit sits right on top of my fairing behind the windshield and I have no problem reading it in broad daylight.Readings from previous day: Hell, no! It is correct that the display unit retains and shows the last reading before it had shut off. If you follow this procedure, you will have the new readings before you start your bike. I turn on the display unit first, then move my bike out of my garage. This turns on the tire sensors. By the time my bike is out of my garage, I have the new readings!Wheel balancing: I took my bike to 75mph and did not notice any wobbling. The sensors are light enough that if your wheels are already balanced, I do not think you need to balance them after installation.Accuracy: The pressure readings are also accurate. I measured my tire pressure with two other accurate units and the readings were the same.Alert: The alert beeps are hard to hear when you are cruising on the highway but the red led flashes up top and is hard to miss.Mount: The handle bar mount did not work for my bike. It is too big for my handlebar. Need to find a way as I think the stick on mount may not last long.Overall, I am very happy that I put my money on this unit. Hope this review helps my fellow motorcycle riders. Ride safe!

No need for smart phone
Better than I expected! Wanted something not related to a smartphone, wanted something that I can look at while riding and not depend on a phone app. Well this fit the bill! Took a 200mi ride any where from 40mph to 75mph, from side roads and interstate, I was very pleased indeed. Two ways you can mount, handle bar clamp or double sided sticky tape holder. Mounted mine on my gl1800 right side fairing glove box. Very pleased, now anytime when I look at my voltage gauge, I can see my tpms reading at the same time. No interfere with Handle bars etc. Also can unclip from holder and lock up while your away from your motorcycle, Turns it Self off automatically and on with a tap on glove box or just mounting up on the wing. When needed batteries can be replaced. Also you can see the readings after dark as well.

Terrible Product! Broken in two months!
The media could not be loaded. Update: 1/8/24After three months this product broke. The screen started flickering and then completely stopped working. Opened up the back where the batteries are and found one of the tension springs that holds the battery in place had broken off.. so being the tech savvy person I am, I use a piece of aluminum foil to complete the voltage contact. Bam back in Business again.. two months later the second battery spring broke. Again used the same fix for the second battery slot.. bam .. back in Business once again.. today the unit finally stopped working.. seems that the engine vibration is to much for this device. That said, I can no longer recommend this product if after two months it starts to fall apart and stop working.. it's a useless $70 paperweight now..I've only had this on my bike for a few days so I can't speak for longevity. This product comes well packaged and exudes quality from beginning to end. Yes it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.September 2023:The radial dial is nice and large (about 80mm) and easy to read, even in bright daylight. Aside from reading psi and tire temperature it also has a large clear digital clock which is awesome. The display is vibration activated and you can make it power on just by tapping it. Just a small gripe here.. it takes a few minutes to power off wasting battery life. I wish you could control the rest duration through the settings, making it shut down after a minute of no vibration. My only other complaint would be the accuracy. The PSI is off by -4 psi. I tested tire pressure with two readers and both read 40psi but the steelmate read 37 psi.. still not bad as long as I know.Cool feature is the alarm. I accidentally set this off by removing the sensor when making adjustments.. it's nice and loud and displays a red light.Setup is pretty easy but the instructions may confuse you a bit but once you cycle through the programming you'll have it figured out in 5 minutes. Thus far, I would recommend.

High Quality
This product came promptly and in good condition. Every component seems to be of excellent quality and well thought out. The display is easy to read day or night.Accuracy seems to be good and the unit is highly responsive to changes in pressure...which is necessary for safety's sake.Setup seemed a bit complex at first, but patiently following the instructions step by step lead to a properly functioning system. An additional benefit is that it's easy to swap the system over to my small cargo trailer when towing it behind the car.UPDATE: 9/5/2022Took a 300 mile ride in hot temps. As expected, the psi increased by several pounds. After returning home and parking the motorcycle overnight the front tire monitor was back down to normal cold psi, but the rear monitor stayed about 5 psi high. I changed my rating from 5 stars to 4 because of this.I'm not saying the unit isn't accurate, but I won't be using it as a substitute for a good tire gauge...which is OK, because what I wanted most is simply a system that will alert me to an unexpected psi drop. I have also found that I need to inflate the tire(s) to 2 or 3 psi above what I want to allow for air lost while screwing on the sender unit. Not a problem, just something to keep in mind. All in all still happy with the product.
