Magpul DAKA Everyday Folding Wallet Tactical Minimalist Cash and Card Holder EDC Gear, Ultra-Slim Wallet with Transparent ID Pocket

Very slim profile, I used it for three years before the use and abuse caused it to fail. And I did abuse it, placing it in my damp shorts when leaving the beach. Nice leather wallets quickly lost their finish under this abuse, but this wallet kept going shrugging off the elements. The section where the two pieces are joined finally started to fail this August, and now I’ve used the excuse to buy another Daka wallet. They don’t last forever, but they take a beating and are really slim and functional.

Love this wallet! I was a little worried at first that the edges may feel sharp in my pocket, but you can barely tell it's there. It feels very durable and is by far the best minimalist wallet that I have owned. It could have been a mm bigger to allow cash to fit easier, but that would be my ONLY complaint.

**Long-term Update**After daily carry of this wallet, I've come to know its strengths and flaws. First, this is an excellent minimalist wallet. Plenty of space for half a dozen or more cards with cash stuffed in the outer pocket. It keeps a slim profile in jeans or slacks (I carried it left-front pocket). Lightweight, ridiculously tough, doesn't get soaked with sweat like a leather or cloth wallet. The folding design lets you carry cash inside the "mouth" of the wallet without bothering to stuff it in and out of the cash slot, although there are downsides to that design.While a good wallet for the purpose, this model doesn't fit my personal lifestyle very well. First, I carry and use cash frequently. While I can simply lay it on the interior of the wallet, it's liable to fall out when I try to reach for it during a purchase. The exterior cash slot is slow and cumbersome, requiring bills to be folded together. Great if you carry little or no cash, not so great if you use it frequently.This wallet's greatest design flaw is the ID window. I own multiple Daka products and have yet for any of them to fail. However, the main seam on this wallet (between the green Daka material and the clear window material) has begun to come unwelded. Not to the point of failure, but significantly so. My assumption is that the clear material doesn't bond as well to the Daka as the Daka does to itself. Once again, this is after lots of carry and abuse, but it's certainly a point of failure.Since I use cash frequently and never utilized the clear ID window for its intended purchase, I replaced this wallet with the bifold version, which is a much better fit for my lifestyle. However, if you're a card user who's looking for a tough, lightweight, slim minimalist wallet with a reasonable carrying capacity, I would totally recommend this model.**Original Review**Initial impressions are good. The wallet seems very sturdy and a great size for carrying in a front pocket. Cash is a little difficult to remove, but, if you are using a minimalist wallet, I would assume you will usually use a card. Disappointed to find that it's made in China rather than the USA.

This is my second magpul wallet. The first one never wore out. I just needed more capacity so I gave the older one to my son and upgraded. I like the fold over and the clear front window. In a pinch it can display a credential when hung into a sports coat pocket. I highly recommend.

Bought for my husband birthday he loved it!!.. slim enough that it doesn’t bother him either when he drives.

Have used multiple times, still looks brand new

Great design for having only a few cards. I like carrying my wallet in my front pocket and when I am standing that is where my phone is also. The problem is that because of the material, everytime I take my phone out of my pocket, the wallet slighly sticks to the phone case and as soon as it clears my pocket it becomes a projectile. I knew that one time I wasn't paying attention and loose the wallet and I would have to replace cards, ID, and at least $3.
