I'm a lifelong compulsive nail biter, like I've never been about to keep a sliver of white on a single nail for more than a couple of days despite all the willpower I could muster. However, strange as it may sound, last year I learned that taking probiotics makes the urge to bite my nails completely and totally disappear, after about a month or so of use. As long as I eat healthy, the nail biting stays away even without prolonged probiotic use, while poor eating habits cause the nail biting to gradually return (and then I have to take probiotics again for about a month and it goes away again).I was originally using a different brand, but tried this one because it specifies the strains and they're ones that have been studied. I've actually only been taking 1 capsule per day (as opposed to 2, so I'm only taking 10 billion CFU per day). I started taking them when the nail biting was returning. The nail biting was only half back but this product at half strength worked in about a week, so I'm confident that it's a good potent brand, and a 10 billion dose of this is at least as effective as the 25 billion probiotic I was using before. (In the past I have had certain probiotics that didn't work for me, one brand I tried, and one shipment of a brand that usually works but must've been killed by the heat in AZ summer shipping.)

I have a chronic condition which makes me take antibiotics extremely often. After about 20 years of taking every antibiotic under the sun, my stomach started have some issues. My doctor had recommended these probiotics to start with to see if my symptoms improve. And let me just say, this product is a miracle worker. My stomach pains have decreased drastically about 85%. In fact, I've already finished my first bottle, and am buying another! I take 2 capsules a day with a meal and I am all set. However, I am looking to see if I can get a way with one in the future. This is definitely one of the more expensive probiotics, but it is worth it for sure.
