Thank god fixed brick mail box
Have a brick mail box with my mail box built into it. Postman broke the door off the hinges. Snapped the hinges. Only way to fix is to deconstruct the bricks replace and then rebuild. Or so I thought. This thing worked perfectly. And is very sturdy. Saved me a ton of worry and money. So no more mail box with no door and no more worrying about how I gotta pay to have a brick mail box fixed. And even if I found just a mail box door it would not have worked for me since my hinges on mine were snapped. So the way this thing latches on and is magnetic as well was exactly what I needed. Totally worth it!

Super struday replacement mailbox door!
I have a brick mailbox at my home that was built when they built the house. The entire neighborhood is this way. I asked my neighbor what happens when the Mailbox door comes off like mine is doing now? Nobody had an answer. I searched youtube, Ticktock and several internet channels. Youtube had me trying to take the cealant from around my box to slide it out and replace it. "NO-GO" Finally I found this magnetic door on Amazon. It comes in several sizes and takes about 5 minutes to install. I bought the standard size which worked for me. It fit perfectly just like a tight glove and popped right in place. No sealant, No glue, No screws, or tape! Just pop it on the fron of your box in place of you old door! It fits snug and rain can't get it your mailbox. I was worried I was going to have to contract someone to replace my entire brick mailbox holder. This door is not some flymsy thing that pops on and off anytime you want. It is struday and you put it on and don't worry about you mail until the next time you have to replace it in 15-20 years. I recommend this product to everyone. I know what built sturdy means since I spent 30 yrs. in the Army using heavy duty combat tools and vehicles that we can't afford to break. I guess this can replace your mmailbox door that just sits on a post too. Replace the door no the whole mailbox! So if you have the brick mailbox holder, get this magnetic mailbox door and have it on standby for when you need it. You won't regret it!

Better than replacing the mailbox
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I wasn’t sure this would work, but I had to try. The original door, housed in a brick mailbox had rusted out. It literally took me 30 seconds took to snap this into place. I was ecstatic! If I could rate it 10 stars, I would. This is the answer to your old mailbox problem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Customer Service Experience
This Retro mailbox replacement door was something I didn't even know existed, but it was exactly what I needed once I discovered it and saved me from having to hire someone to replace my entire mailbox. It arrived even quicker than I would have thought possible. The only problem was that the magnet was no longer in place to hold the door closed so I contacted the vendor through Amazon on a Friday eve and received a kind response on Saturday AM which surprised me to hear back on a weekend. The young woman was very apologetic and offered to send me a replacement door. I told her that all I really needed was a very small spot of a glue that that would hold the magnet in place and I had read on another review that JB Weld had been all another customer had needed to glue the magnet in place and I would see what I could find at my local hardware store early the next week. She said she didn't want to inconvenience me and would be glad to send me another door. But I told her it was not a problem to me and I really wanted to try to find a spot of glue to take care of things as there was nothing faulty about the door except that tiny spot of glue. But if I was not able to be successful, I would ask her to send a new door. The guys at my hardware store agreed that all I should need was a drop of JB Weld and they helped me with that in their shop and I left the store with the drop of glue in place and instructions to let the glue dry at least overnight before closing and opening the door. The next day it worked perfectly so I set to removing my old mailbox door which took about two minutes using a fine metal hack saw blade to cut through the old rivet hinges. Then I slipped in the new door insert and was good to go! When I emailed the sweet customer service rep to let her know all had gone well and my new door was in place and the magnet was holding the door perfectly, she then offered to pay for the glue. I thanked her, but told her that was not needed as the drop of needed glue had not cost me anything! (Although I will take a plate of cookies to the guys that are so kind to help me with various repair job advisements I have come up.)The new door works great! The old door got so it would blow open at least a couple of times a week and all the re tightening finally broke the part that held it closed. In the over two months the new door has been in place, it has not blown open once--not even on days like today when the wind blew 60-70 mph and the mailbox has no protection from the sometimes brutal winds on the open plains.I am a very happy customer and never experienced a better customer service experience than I did with this family owned and ran company. It was great!! They have my highest recommendation! I wish I could order things from them on every Amazon order!

Works like a charm
Update after 2 weeks. Taking away a star because water leaks in when it's raining. Our mailbox is surrounded by brick. The door broke and I was surprised how easily this fixed our problem! You literally just remove the old door and pop it in. It feels very stable and the magnet is just strong enough.

So Easy to install!
First of all, I'm a 70 year old arthritic lady with no hand strength at all. Rather than chip away at the existing mortar around my brick mailbox and replace the entire mailbox, I thought I give this mailbox door a try. It was very easy for me! I took the old one off with a pair of plyers-only one side was still attached. Then I used the pliers to move the old door closing tab up and out of the way. The new door lined up perfectly and I just pushed it in place. I cannot believe how easy this was! The new door looks great and is no longer falling open on one side. Be sure to measure your existing door opening to make sure you get the correct replacement size.
