Was looking for something a bit bigger than the pet carrier my chihuahua usually slept in when I came across this. I read a bunch of the reviews and decided to take a chance. I'm very happy I did! The size is perfect for my dog. Enough room for her bed, blanket, food, water and a puppy pad in case of accidents! The color is a little splotchy, but it's not a big deal. It was easy to assemble and not too heavy to move around the room. The top opens up easily and makes it great to spot clean. It's the perfect little house for my chichi at night.

I bought this house for our 2 ducks. It was the perfect size for them. The build was cheap and flimsy but I didn’t need much. I waterproofed it with 2 coats and sent it outside. It didn’t even last 3 months before I had to screw and glue it all back together. After 6 months it was completely garbage and thrown out.

Just don’t expect it to withstand rough handling or heavier wear and tear.

My 13lb maltese started holding up his leg we took him to vet kept saying knee problems. He had a smaller house they he stays in when we r gone. I thought maybe it is to small causing him aches from being cramped up so we got this and put a temperpedic bed inside and he has plenty room it was easy to assemble (maybe 15mins) and very sturdy. After a week of use my dog has been just fine no leg issues. Even though 2 of him could fit in it he has plenty room to lay on his back n stretch out. My dog loves a indoor dog house. We took the door off cause he loves it and dont want to come out.

Quality is “fair” but given the fact this is made in China, I guess that’s to be expected. Not well painted, quality wood as described. Very thin with spotty paint job. Knot holes and cracks in wood painted over with glue. I’d say it’s worth the price though, just don’t expect a high end piece.

The paint on the wood was blotchy , looked like a child had painted it. The the metal gate must have been put in the box when it was still wet it was all tacky and sticky lats would not close or move at all. Screw holes did not line up there was pieces of wood chipped scratched and dented just all around disappointment. I read the reviews thought maybe I would get lucky so I was very careful about opening the product still have my box set up my return it's going back do not buy not worth the money or waste of money and time..

Thin cheap materials with poor construction. After 6 months I was having to refasten and add additional support and bracing to keep the dog house together. The wood is extremely thin and cheap. After a year, it is completely falling apart. This is for a small, old, dog. This house would never hold up to an active dog.
