Just ordered it, I am scared....
I wasn't always like this... I used to duck and cover when hot came around. Then about a dozen years ago, I tried some fresh cayenne, and got the bug.So, my most recent antics have been dried Ghost Peppers. Ate a whole one (not one of the dark colored, boiled/steamed sanitary weak ones) during Superbowl halftime, and finally felt real pain. But then I made wings with them, made chili with them, added them to my Sriracha chili sauce. No longer do I get the adrenaline rush like before....So... It is hot, very very hot. I like Tapatio for general "saucing", love it's flavor. Now my Tapatio has about 8 drops of Source in it, and it has the delicious flavor, AND the monster heat. After having The Source, Ghost Peppers are a silly kids toy, tabasco is something you hydrate with on race day, and your entire family will stop eating anything you own. It's kinda nice, actually, having an entire plate of hot wings that are both truly hot and delicious, and safe from even my idiot dogs! I have a feeling this bottle is going to last about a year, then I'll get another. Also, I have tried it a few times on a toothpick, and made some red beers and bloody marys with it, even got it in my eye when the cap broke... Soooooo hot. Whole new level compared to normal peppers and whatnot.

I was seeking a ridiculously hot, hot sauce, and this did not disappoint. Although I was looking for the hottest hot sauce, this is hot enough for me. 7.1 million Scoville heat units is crazy hot. But 16 million...why?!? Why would such a thing exist?!? That's pure capsaicin, who needs pure capsaicin? The Source offers more heat than what you need, giving you a generous ounce of this stuff. I tested it by rubbing the tip of the handle of a spoon to the dipstick, coating the very end of it, not just the tip. Then, I stirred the upside down spoon in a big pot (less than 16 quarts) of boiling water. After I felt the hot sauce was sufficiently stirred, I tested the water with a teaspoon. I could tell it was there, it wasn't overpowering, I didn't need to chase it with milk or anything, it was tolerable. I recently cooked chili with it and decided to put a whole drop in the pot. I could eat it, but anyone who can't handle spicy foods would not be able to. When handling the hot sauce, I recommend disposable gloves (mandatory) and just in case, eye protection. This hot sauce should be kept away from the reach of children. The only thing I didn't like was that no information was available to me on how to safely test this hot sauce. But if you read this review, at least now you know what I didn't. You are getting your money's worth!

Wash your hands after handling i didnt realize it had leaked on the box until it was too late
Bottle was leaking into the box and seal was broken. But it wasnt dried out like i had seen in other reviews, which is why im still giving it 4 stars. Im still gonna try it to make sure it the same amount of fun as it was last time.

Fantastic!!!
I have had many types of hot sauces including Satans Blood, Da Bomb, Mad Dog and many more. This is by far the hottest sauce(extract) I have ever had; the pure heat packs alot of punch and is not for the weak of heart! When I first tried it on a toothpick the heat immediately numbed my mouth and began burning my throat; soon after my mouth began to burn as well and the heat as well as the burn was the most intense thing I have ever tried or tasted. Well worth your money, and of your a true chile head or sauce enthusiast it is a MUST buy!!! Fantastic product and goes great with all types of foods.

Twice as hot as green tobasco.
It's pretty hot for something of this price range. I'd recommend something in the $250 range for more serious heat. The packaging is pretty weak. The taste is similar to green tobacco but it's like twice as hot. Not bad on a burrito but not great either. Pistmans low end sauce is only forty dollars more and worth it. I'd start there.

This product was dried out.
I opened it, and the contents are a semi-wet paste. I bought this product once before, so I wanted a new bottle. When it arrived, I was excited to try it. Unlike the first time I bought it, where the product was liquid and you could gather a single drop to put into something, this stuff was dried up into a very thick, semi-wet paste, making the dip stick attached to the cap, all but useless. As you can see in the pictures, the product is very thick on the dipstick, not running down to pool in the cap, as my previous The Source, would have done. Only when turning it sideways, did it begin to slowly drip, but never fell off the stick. Also, I had eaten some homemade chicken soup the day before, and the remaining portion was placed in the fridge. So when I got this, I wanted to try it. Though it was obviously dried out, I assumed this was OK...just not ideal for portioning. I ate the last two bowls of soup with a small amount of this added. Not long after, I felt pain in my stomach, and went to the bathroom. As I sat there, I began to feel nauseous. I ended up hurling into the bathtub. It's been a very very long time since I did that. So I won't be buying this again. There are too many good products out there with similar heat values, so I purchased another product from another company, and it's just fine. I won't say the name because I'm not here to promote another product...just give my experience with this product/seller.I may try salvaging this bottle by adding some avocado oil, or coconut oil to it, and heating it up in a pan of water, to a temperature to kill any bacteria, letting it cool in the fridge, and then replacing the cap once cooled. I will likely then keep it stored in the fridge. If it makes me sick to my stomach again, I will just toss it out.
