I bought this unsure if I was going to keep it as I was using a blade. I tried it and found that of course its not as close as a blade but it is close enough. Also it is easy to use. I saw some other reviews that stated they had a tough time with their hair (shaving or cleaning out the heads). I would say that could depend on the kind of hair you have and how often you shave your head. I am shaving every two to three days. My hair is kind of light and straight. So not thick hair like some people have. I rinse the heads with water after every shave and that gets it cleaned up, nothing else required.LAST NOTE: I found that shaving with a wet head (like just out of the shower) works best for me as the moisture provides a little bit of lubrication.

Works great. Huge reduction in shaving bumps. Not the easiest to clean or remove the head. Well worth the price. Would definitely recommend.Edit: Now after 2 months of use...Still going strong, working as well as day 1. Charges very quickly. A bit of a learning curve on lining up the center blade after removing it for cleaning but now I can do it quickly with no problem. I use this for my head as well as my face. Major bonus is that with this shaver, as a black man that is prone to razor bumps, I rarely get a hair bump on my head as opposed to one of the more expensive brands that I used, which gave them to me with basically every shave. I do not recommend this for someone that wants a very, very close shave but for someone like me that likes it just a slight bit above that, it is perfect. Highly recommended and will be buying a second one.

My husband loves this, it really shaves the top of his head smoothly. Unfortunately, it does not last. The unit works maybe 6 months then you have a buy another one. So I try to buy 2 at a time, but as you know they change them. Order two of them.

Going bald and saw this online but after using it, it doesn't give a close enough shave. The battery life is fine no issues with charge and working it. Its just not sharp enough and doesn't do what I was hoping it would.

In the description for this product, the seller SPECIFICALLY has written in sentence 8, words 8 and 9, "whole body". I just used it for that purpose. As I sit here in burning agony, I felt it would be prudent to attempt to save someone else from succumbing to a similar fate. As I said, this will chop your body up and blood will come out of you. I would post pictures I am so pissed off, but Amazon would never allow these pictures. Not only that, but as an added bonus, it somehow manages to do something strange to your body hairs where they become instantly ingrown when they are cut, and within a matter of hours, you will have ANGRY red ingrown hair bumps all over your body. These aren't your average ingrown hairs. These are the ingrown hairs that you are tortured with for all of eternity when you die and discover that you have lead a less than reputable existence, and now must pay the consequences.Honestly, I have NEVER experienced anything like this. I wanted to cry, yes I was that emotional, as a well adjusted, emotionally balanced adult male almost in his 40's, as I looked in the mirror at what USED to be my pretty normal looking human flesh 3 hours later. Ingrown hair bumps everywhere, AND these very strange looking welts that I can't even imagine what caused them. I can't even imagine how long its going to take before my crotch and chest, and the backs of my legs, look like I'm not having some kind of INSANE allergic reaction to some sort of highly caustic chemical that got spilled all over me.THIS PRODUCT is what HELL looks, and feels, like.This is one of the very few products I have EVER reviewed, good or bad, and I was inspired to write a mini essay on it I am so devastated. Just returning it and getting a refund is nowhere near good enough. I bought this shaver with many doubts it would work. I was surprised at how well it works. My hair was only stuble, and I was able to get a very close shave. I didn't even need to go over my head with shaving cream and a razor. In fact, this shaver got a closer shave than using a regular razor.

UPDATE 01-08-2021:After using this for 6 months, my rating has been downgraded to a 2 from a 4 star.The battery charge will last now for about 7 days, with 4 minute shaves.The unit will show 50m left when it completely stops and needs to be recharged.I've had this razor for about 2 months.1. The time charge left on the shaver is much shorter than stated. It has run out of battery at 20 mins left of charge and have experienced 40 mins left of charge when it stops. I use it once a day from 3-5 mins for a head shave. So based on this, I get 7 head shaves which is 1 week until it needs recharging. I believe it should last longer based on my usage.2. The razor head could be less rigid. It swivels slightly but not enough as it should. A little stiffer than my old Bald Eagle.3. I guess for the $45 it is ok. It looks nice with the gold trimming on black. I would recommend it BUT with caution.
