The media could not be loaded. Reasonably quiet operation for a three fan unit. Fits nicely on a rimless tank but will need DIY modification to fit a tank with a rim. When used in combination with a heater I can maintain my desired temperature of 77.5 ‘F in a room that has temperature shifts from 76’ to 80’. To be truthful I wasn’t expecting such solid performance for a fan array this inexpensive. I highly recommend it others with similar cooling needs as me.

Does what it says.It does evaporate a lot of water, so be prepared for higher humidity in the room. Fans are not exactly quiet on the low setting, but not very much louder on the high setting. Fans can be horizontal, or tipped up at an angle (max 45°).

Update !!! Finally gave up after over two years of abuse, I’m ordering the same one. Definitely dropped the temperature in my tank, will buy again if my 1st one ever stops working.Was running 24/7 for almost a year with zero cleaning or anything before it quit working. The problem was with the plug I replaced it and it’s working again.

This works great. I have a 20g Axolotl tank and this fan works to keep the temp down. However, I do a very deep clean about one a month and that includes dusting my fan. Once you move it or put the slightest pressure, it throws something off and becomes very loud. For a while you can adjust it in different ways to make it quieter but eventually you will need to replace it to keep the noise down. If this is in a room where noise doesn’t matter, I’ve only had one stop working completely and it was after a year of constant use. My tank is in my bedroom so noise is a big factor for me. Axolotls are pretty cheap pets so I don’t mind replacing this when needed.

I bought these fans for my son for his axolotl tanks. The fans were unable to be secured to the tank safely. The aquarium glass cracked when attempting to tighten the fan. Im definitely returning these.

The fans work perfectly and really helped cool down the aquarium during this heatwave. temp and nice and low, fans are not too loud on the lower settings and materials feels premium. only downside is the mounting mechanism is lacking, the opening is 1.5cm wide and most aquariums have a rim around them which are thicker than that, and the screws you use to hold in in place only go half way in so you're left with a bit of a miss on both ends. doesn't secure itself properly to the aquarium. I don't feel like there is a danger of it falling off but I would love to see a proper mounting mechanism for it.

Definitely beneficial to keep axolotol temperatures cool. 2 speeds. Be aware continous use will accelerate water evaporation. Check and refill water levels as needed.

Purchased this product for my Axolotl and it works perfectly! My house stays fairly hot during the summer due to lack of insulation and when I hooked this up to the tank yesterday evening, it went from 84 degrees to 66 degrees when I woke up this morning. I have only a 10 gallon tank right now, but I will be getting a 20 a little later so I will see how well it works on that.
