Tasty old fashioned candy.
Honestly I bought them because I had no idea what it would be like. Sort of like an after dinner mint texture. I loved them. Worth the experiemnt!

Flavorless Chalk
First off, there is no color. Secondly, there is no flavor. They’re slightly tart - I love sweet tarts and these are not like them. They’re crumbly and the candy melts into a slightly tart, overly sweet, chalky powder in your mouth. The faint flavor is that of chemicals or flowery perfume.

Different
It is very hard, not too sweet, a very slight tart taste. No distinguishable fruit flavor. Some described it as chalky. My son thinks it's delicious but he's loves Scotland. Lol

So yummy!
I tried this in Edinburgh 5 years ago and forgot what exactly it was til I was searching for unique treats from around the world for my kids to try. This popped up and I remembered exactly what it was. I snapped it up and my family cleaned the bag out in about 5 minutes. It was delicious and fun to have a treat we don't find every day

Sweet and Tasty
The rock candy is nice and tasty but very sweet. It dissolves very quickly in the mouth, in a way it's like eating a sugar cube?I like the candy so I recommend it. (if you have a "sweet tooth")

No Artificial colors
The media could not be loaded. I like this product because it doesn’t pretend to be anything but crack for our sweet tooth (it’s melt in your mouth flavored sugar) but I can’t find sugar here in America without cancer colors in them. :( So I’m a fan !!! Xoxo

Product Picture differs from what received
Disappointed as the package had colorful candies. Every candy was white. Bad sign.It is not light weight like I thought candies might taste like.Maybe it's a cultural specialty which I don't appreciate. The taste was a bit sour. I thought maybe the candy was large sugar cubes.I rather eat a sugar cube than this candy.Unless you know exactly what to expect.....I suggest not to buy. It was a total waste of money. Cannot even use it as sugar substitute. I feel like it's a rip off. I should have read a review in advance.

Don't know flavor until you bite into one
I was so excited to try this candy, and I assumed that the package would tell me what flavors the different colors were going to be. It does not. In fact even the manufacturer's website doesn't tell. I finally found the flavors on a third party website, so let me save you some time: white is ginger, green is lime, pink is raspberry, orange is orange, and yellow is either pineapple or lemon.Pros:* Each flavor is distinct once you taste them.* If you enjoy those little uncoated pastel mints, the ones that start out somewhat hard, but then begin to soften in your mouth after a few seconds, so that if you bite down they gently melt away, you might like these candies.Cons:* It's almost impossible to tell the different colors apart. The green ones are just bright enough to pick out from the others, but the rest all kind of look alike. In my photo you can see all the pretty colors on the package, compared to the homogeneous slightly tinted off-white of the actual candies.* The outside of the package is appealing and giftable, but the inside is just a plain plastic bag. They could have been more environmentally friendly by using a waxed paper type bag, and I think it would have looked classier as well. But if they were going to use plastic, why not separate the flavors or display the candies more attractively?Because we strongly dislike the ginger flavor, and it was so hard to tell the different flavors apart, we ended up throwing most of these away. For years I've relied on my fellow shoppers' reviews to help me make informed decisions: contributing details about my own experience is my way of paying that forward.
