Was exactly what I was expecting
Functions fine so far it's very durable, with easy to use, easy clean up (just make sure you wash the rags out so there is not a fire. Because if you don't clean the dirty rags they can catch on fire). No noticeable stickiness, it seems pretty durable and no Jurassic color changes.

Great Product - Great Results - Allow LOTS of Drying Time
The bottle was bigger than I needed, but was the quality I wanted. It worked beautifully. Attached is a picture of a cutting board that I had sanded the previous finish off of. I sanded it until is was velvety smooth. Then I applied multiple coats of Hope's Tung Oil and it looks beautiful - just see for yourself! You need to allow a LOT of drying time between coats. I first had it drying in my garage, but then realized it was somewhat cool out there and it was taking a looooong time to dry. So, I brought it into my office and it went more quickly (uh... less long would be a better way to say that!). Anyway, if you are looking for a tung oil finish, this is a great product!

Good product - just be sure if you need Tung Oil or Linseed Oil for your project
Great quality product, worked for my needs. Is more 'honey-like' and is best for coating flat surfaces such as cutting boards, newly made wooden furniture, etc, and not well suited for very intricately carved wood relief type carvings.

4x4 raised bed 16'' deep slow dry time due to thick coat
I love that it's pure and food safe. I couldn't afford redwood or cedar for my garden bed and had to settle for Douglas fir. I am hoping to extend the life of the bed with this product. It went on alot easier with an oil brush vs the cloth. I was able to do one coat with one container so I bought another for the second coat. The only reason for 4 stars is because I can rate how long it will last outside yet. So far it's been a great product for an organic raised bed and allows me to get a more affordable wood. I think I put the first coat too thick it didn't dry after 24 hours

Natural way to seal wooden utensils used for cooking
Last year we replaced most of our old plastic cooking utensils with wood ones -- teak and acacia. These work well but the initial coating, if any, wears off pretty quickly. I did some research online and found that Tung Oil is one of the best choices for keeping wood utensils sealed. It is plant-based and not a petroleum product like mineral oil. It's even supposed to last longer.Whenever our wood utensils start to look dry or porous I wipe on this Tung Oil with a clean cloth and let it soak it. I typically wait an hour and then either wipe off the excess or put on another coat. Then the hard part is not using them for a week or so while the oil cures. I just leave them sitting on a shelf. We have pretty much two sets of wood utensils so I can use the second set while the first one dries. I don't notice any smell or stickiness when I follow this approach. This one bottle will last for years. One application seems to last a couple months for the amount of cooking we do.

Leaves a brilliant, hard finish
Mineral oil tends to darken the surfaces to which it is applied, but this tung oil keeps the brightness of the different colored woods I use in my projects. The only negative is the potentially long drying time, but if I raise the work off the table and keep warm air circulating around it, the cure time is greatly improved. Cut with a citrus solvent, it goes on easily and has a pleasant smell. The finish is also hard and lasts a long time. This particular tung oil meets all my needs.

Works well
Used on my indoor teak dining room furniture. Goes on easy and made my 40 year old mid century modern table look beautiful! Very happy!

Used it for Butcher Block Countertop. Love the result.
Used it for Butcher Block Countertop. After removing the stains with sandpaper, applied 3 three layers of Tung oil followed by two layers of Polyurethane, gloss finish. Shining and very easy to maintain.
