Well Built Plug and Play PoE Extender
I swapped out my old PoE extender with this one from Procet because the previous one, which had been running for a few years, started causing my PoE camera to act up during the winter. This new extender feels super sturdy, like it could handle some serious rough and tumble. I had it mounted, installed, and grounded in about 20 minutes, and it seems to have fixed the camera dropout issue. The best part is, it's a breeze to set up – just plug and play, no need for an extra power source, which is pretty convenient. One thing to keep in mind, as another reviewer mentioned, is that the rubber gaskets aren't split. So, if you need to push an RJ45 connector through them, you'll have to make a cut or install the connector after feeding the cable through. I made a cut during installation, and it seems fine.If you're looking to power PoE devices like cameras and access points over a decent distance (up to 100m per extender) without dealing with external power, I'd totally recommend this product. It's only been a few days since I installed it, and everything's working smoothly. I'll update this review if anything changes, but for now, it's a big thumbs up from me!

The device failed.
Plugged it in and it powered up. But when we plug in a cable to the POE Out it dies. Even if the cable is just 10 feet long, it still quits. Total failure. We also were not able to install it until about six weeks after we bought it and so it cannot be returned. What a waste. Buy something else.

could not figure out how to use it
The directions weren't very informative, and I didn't know how to actually use it. Looks impressive though.

Powerful and Reliable.
This extender offers exceptional functionality with its 2-port design. It allows me to easily extend power and network signals, making it ideal for my yoga studio surveillance system. With the ability to repeat power over 100 meters (328ft) and extend up to 400 meters with multiple extenders, it provides ample coverage for my studio. The build quality of this extender is top-notch. It features a high-quality switching chip that protects the output against overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits. The wall-mount design is convenient and easy to install, requiring no additional settings or external power supply. Plus, it's designed for outdoor use with IP67 protection and 6KV lightning and surge protection, ensuring durability and reliability even in harsh weather conditions. Setting up this extender is a breeze, thanks to its plug-and-play functionality. There's no software installation or configuration required, making it convenient for both beginners and experienced users. As an added bonus, the manufacturer provides direct supply with a one-year warranty and unlimited technical support. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I'm covered in case of any issues or concerns.Overall, I highly recommend this waterproof extender to anyone in need of a powerful and reliable solution for extending power and network signals outdoors. It's a must-have for any surveillance system or outdoor network setup.

Solidly built extender.
This is a good quality POE extender stuffed into a small tank. The housing on this unit is very robust and the function is perfect. I use it for my weather station and my garden sensors. So far I have not had issues. It is pricey for my application but if you were setting up cameras or other security system components in a large shop or warehouse this item would be ideal.

excellent extender.
I haven’t installed this in its permanent location yet so I can’t speak to its ingress protection claims, although its build quality certainly suggests it should be just fine. It comes with a short length of wire with a round terminal attached, along with a couple screws for grounding its chassis. The finish on this thing is excellent and I’m fairly positive it’ll have no problem enduring just about any conditions it may encounter. The seals on the glands seem to fit tightly around the majority of cat-6 & 7 cables with the obvious exception being flat cable. Something worth noting is that the rubber seals aren’t split and thus wouldn’t fit over any of my RJ45’s so I had to split them myself. This won’t be an issue either way, but especially if you’re custom making your cables.I recommend this PoE extender, especially if you don’t like messing with providing additional power to the extender itself since it doesn’t need it. And that’s probably the best feature of this marvelous little device. Excellent!

PoE Booster
This booster has protective screw on caps at either end, there are lights to indicate activity. The ends are specifically small, so the ethernet connector has to fit through the end before screwing onto the booster, otherwise the connector cannot fit through. Although I don’t have a signal meter, I trust that the signal is getting through. Recommended for construction and ease of use.

(Very) Well Built to Fail
The build quality is very very good… but my device (version made for POE Texas) failed within two months of field deployment. Water ingress was not the issue, as the extender was installed inside an IP68 enclosure with additional cable glands. Instead, the problem was/is surge related. The unit was grounded directly and the Cat.6 run has inline surge devices on PSE and PD. Now it’s a $80-$100 paperweight!
