Lebanon Za'atar 1 Lb (Pack of 2)

I've been buying every brand of grocery store za'atar I come across, trying to relive my childhoos. They all fall shor - this, on the other hand, is the real deal. None of the extreme bitter aftertastes I've been coming across. It's the absolute perfect blend and tastes absolutely perfect. I could smell the za'atar through 3 layers of packaging and I could already tell it was going to be perfect.This is the good stuff.

I'm so fond of this zaatar that I'm using it in and on foods in which I've never before used zaatar. Adding to this wonderful taste, it is very reasonably priced, which makes this a very big deal. Note: there, was a small problem with my order, and Mark of Hala Market handled it in a professional and expeditious manner. This is a wonderful zaatar sold by an excellent seller. Highly recommended.

I am Lebanese and this is good zaatar but WAY too salty! The salt should be eliminated and let customers add their own, to taste.Sodium is problematic for good health. Otherwise a good product.

I lived in Jerusalem years ago, and walking through the old city at times smelled like za'atar - and this za'atar reminded me of that. It also tastes great and is a more powdery variety. I eat za'atar by the spoonful as way to endure my vestibular migraine nausea (no idea why, but it helps settle my stomach) and this variety is always one of my favorites in my pantry.

Other brands don’t compare! It has the perfect tang from the sumac that the “Green” product lacks. Takes a little longer to get, but it’s worth the wait. Pita, olive oil, a little salt and the za’atar and oh so good!! Highly recommended

This is the zataar I was looking for. It’s tasty and tart. I’ve tried several others offered here and they were just bland green stuff. And there’s a lot! I got TWO 1lb bags! I’m very pleased.
