I would have given this pen a four star rating, but I fixed the issue. The pen is incredible, The design fits into the hand nicely if you are right handed. The face has incredibly beautiful detail. There is some weight to the pen but not enough to hinder usage. The one issue I would like people to be aware of is that the ink comes out in blobs soaking through paper and getting on everything. I discovered that if I trimmed down one of my partially used Pilot fine point pen cartridges it fits to perfection. No more ink problems!Plus this means I can keep refilling the pen and using it.

I'm so impressed! Got one for myself and to gift to someone else. Design could be made ever so better if the pen was retractable. Ugh. Its only flaw.

Very pretty, writes well, I think it is slightly fragile so I wouldn't recommend for kids.

I bought this pen for my granddaughter for Christmas and I’m sure she will love it. Quality made and uniquely designed.

I order this a while back to give it a good test. It was a Christmas present for my uncle who collects everything that is a dragon or features a dragon so I got him this as he does not have a dragon pen which he loved and uses it for anything that requires him to write something checks, lists, receipts etc. that was a year ago and he still using it now he says it is a great conversation starter. very lightweight and he has no problem writing with it.

I want to like the pen because of the design of the body, but within a week of having it, it already seemed to be drying out and having spotty lines as shown in the pic. And the construction of how the tip attaches / screws onto the dragon is shoddy. So, while I admire the artistry of the housing and body, it's very poor quality as far as a writing instrument goes.

Smaller than I expected and no it is not the most convenient, grippable pen ever. Infact the pen cap will unscrew loose every now and then..BUT. THIS PEN Isnt really for having a good pen for writing a lot, so much as it is to have one laying out you can always grab if you need, but looks cool.I'm waiting for them to sell the collection of gargoyle and dragon pens again, as I think even for the effort, the price for buying them separately is too high.I give it 3 stars for not being an effective pen, but being a really cool pen.Critical Review

Love this pen. It is a little heavy so don't think your getting something that is plastic or cheap. It writes great and is very beautiful. A must for dragon lovers! It arrived in great shape and on time.
