It's ideal in the field
There's absolutely nothing to dislike, easy to use, I wish I thought of it. It's just what a woodworker who wants to pick up the dust as he goes, wants. It allows you to set up your vacuum to your saw/tool out in the field, and they both activate when you start that tool. It works just like it explains 👍

Great product!
I had the v1 version of this and this new model is even better! The ability to turn on/off the vac at the switch is really nice for clean up after cutting. The larger mount is nicer too since it doesn't pull out of the wall as easily as the original.

Excellent addition to the shop
This vacuum control designed to work with a wood dust producing tool is first class. It does plug directly into a 120V duplex outlet (no cord involved) and runs for 5 seconds (my test) after the tool is powered off. I use it on a 12" miter saw and it's perfect. Starts up along with the tool and clears the dust collection line for 5 additional seconds. Some of these type switches run for 10 seconds which is way too long (and so a bit irritating) but 5 seconds seems just about right. It has 2 outlets, one for the vacuum and an extra (for a task light, for instance). Now there's no need to turn the vacuum on at startup and off at shutdown -- this switch does it all for me.I can find no negatives to this simple but positive addition to my shop. I'll buy this model when/if I need another.

Wish I had purchased this sooner
I use this switch with my miter saw, track saw and palm sander. I appreciate the fact that I have stopped saying oh it's just one cut or a small area to sand, no need for dust collection. I know that's stupid but I'm lazy. Now I have no excuse. Start the saw and dust collection starts. Shut off the saw and a few seconds later the dust collector shuts off. Stupidity kept me from buying this earlier. It works just great. I highly recommend.

So handy
I use these in my wood working shop to activate the vacuums with the saws. They work great. The vacuums come on at the same time as the saw and turn them off a few seconds later. Simple to use, just plug the device into the plug in and plug the saw and vacuum into the device. Couldn't be easier. I highly recommend.

Its ok
This plugs directly into the socket. using just 1 socket but covering both. the concern i have is that it doesnt screw into the outlet plate like you would see a power block do. I purchased the unit to work with my sandblasting cabinet. to turn the vacuum on when i turn the light on. But the light doesnt create a high enough draw to signal the vacuum. So it doesnt work for my needs. I did try it with a palm sander. and it works good for that. But something so mobile doesnt work well with a switch like this stuck to the wall. unless you only work in one spot the entire time youre sanding.
