This was just what the doctor ordered when I hurt my knee. You need the cooler part, but it made icing my knee so easy. No mess and easy to change when it was no longer cold.

I have used the cryocuff for my shoulder and my knee and this is the greatest way to cool and heal injured joints. It is better than ice packs because it will never freeze the skin and you can use it for much longer than an ice pack. I couldn't image going without this!

I've had several orthopedic surgeries and bought this item because my kit came with the shoulder piece originally. This was delivered quickly and it's incredibly Easton use. Only problem was that after about 3 days the little black gasket just broke, and there were no extras in the packaging. One of my friends even went to home depot to try to get a replacement, but that didn't work. So, from day 4 on, I had to go to sink or bathtub to fill/empty or I'd get myself, couch and floor very wet. I gave this a 4 star rating because it stayed very cold and was very easy to use and I'm positive it helped me after my knee surgery. I think other reviews also stated the gasket and leaking issues, so you have to decide if it's worth the probable leaking.

The product photo on Amazon looked much better than the actual product (larger coverage on leg). The delivered product works well but is much smaller..
