Unfortunately not for me
I've tried several cold brew/nitro brew coffees and this one was the worst cold brew I have tasted. I drank one can and wanted to return the rest but this was not possible.

Unpleasant and sour. Probably an acquired taste, just not one I want to.....
Firstly, I don't drink 'energy drinks' as I prefer to GET any needed energy from good food, exercise, sleep and stress management. If I NEED a kick, its a sure sign I need to do something to put something INTO the vitality basket, one of the above, rather than reach for a caffeine or sugar kick.Secondly, I LOVE coffee - for its taste, not for a needed effect, but because I don't like the feeling of being hyped, over adrenalised or wired, I limit my coffee to a lovely strong mug with breakfast, drunk black and unsweetened. Very very occasionally I might have a second cup or mug, and sometimes, in the summer, will make a pot, drink one cup hot with breakfast and have the other later in the day, from the fridge. So I do liked iced coffee. But I have never tried cold brewed coffee before. Okay, it's kind of the wrong season for me to want chilled drinks, but still...this, on first taste is SOUR with coffee underneath. So, I would say the makers are absolutely right in saying 'citrus' but I just don't appreciate a cup of coffee which tastes as if a lemon has been squeezed into it. For me, the flavours don't mix, and I'm not drawn to 'citrussy' coffee - I like chocolate, cereal, caramel, nutty notes. So pronounced and unpleasant was the sour note, that I ended up adding a scant spoon of maple syrup to make it palatable. And I am someone who DOESN'T like sweetened drinks, and finds many things disgustingly over sweet.I have TWO starred this rather than one starred, even though I really dislike it, because the makers did well not to put any sugar or sweetener (an even more terrible option, in my book) into this. At least a consumer can add their own sweetener of choice, if they want, whereas 'sweet' can't be unsweetened.I have no idea whether this 'sour' is typical of the cold brew, or whether it is just this particular choice of bean. At least I have discovered I shall stick to iced coffee, in the summer chilled from conventional hot brewing, and will avoid any cold brewed coffee.Shame I hated the actual drink so much, as I like small, independent companies, and the ethos of this company seems very good. I really expected to like this, but alas, the tastebuds felt distaste

A quick coffee hit
Flavour reviewed: Original Black.Cold brew is new to me, but I thought I'd give it a go, and... it's fine. It'll never replace either a hot black coffee or a refreshing cold drink at the height of summer, but it's a nice alternative to both for the sake of variation. It doesn't have the 'body' of a hot black coffee, and you can obviously make that to the strength you like. I'd describe this as a quick coffee hit when you're in a hurry rather than an energy drink, but there's probably a market for that.

Straight black coffee, ice cold.
I'm fairly new to the whole "cold brew coffee" thing and normally when I do have it it's with milk or something else added so I was keen to have a go at this one.And it's not too bad once I got acquired to the taste. The problem for me is that because it has no sugar, no milk, no, well, additives is that it takes out all that I've previously enjoyed with similar drinks. It's not overly strong but had a distinct lack of sweetness that was odd to me in the first place. After a few cans of it over a week or so I became more accustomed to it and enjoyed drinking it. It did also give a bit of the "energy" drink boost so in that sense probably better than loading up on one of those sugary concoctions. All in all this was quite good and whilst something of an acquired taste I do think that if you like coffee it's one that you could acquire. Best served already ice cold, over ice. I'd probably limit myself to a couple of cans of this over a week.

No thanks.
I've not drunk cold(-brew) coffee very often, so thought I'd give these a try. They claim that it is an improved recipe. The strength - and hence the flavour (for me) - of the coffee is not very good. Also, there is something 'not quite right' about the overall flavour. A wee bit 'false'. Not quite natural. I'm not saying that there are any un-natural flavourings herein, but that is how it tastes to me. Of course, that may be due to me not drinking much cold-brew coffee over the years. So, not for me. I would like it to be a bit more flavoursome, and - hence - satisfying. I can't see me trying them again, I'm afraid.
