I’ve seen so many mixed reviews for the metrovac online — and after many months of deciding whether or not to purchase one I finally did.I used it hours after it came to my house! Assembly was very straight forward. All you do is attach the hose to the vacuum end and tighten it. I’ve read that that section comes off during use for some people — so I recommend making sure that the hose clamp is actually tightening the hose to the machine opening.The dryer was fairly protected in the box with paper filler and it came with several attachments that I likely won’t ever use.The build quality is not exactly what I expected. Its very well built but I imagined it as being very heavy and having a solid sound when you tap against it. Its build feels as tight as soda can when you shake it.Now for the important part...Is it worth the money?Personally, I would buy this again instead of a leaf blower. It’s easy to maneuver around the car and the heated air really helps dry the car quicker. I had a cheap Chinese brand blower before this and this is obviously night and day between the two.You can get away with not having the touch the car without a towel if you are strategic about the use of this. I personally wash my cars at dusk or early evening to avoid any sun turning water into spots. So I was able to dry the car top to bottom (dry to the touch) in about 10-12 minutes. Probably could be done quicker but I didn’t want to touch the car with a towel...The noise isn’t too obnoxious so if you are worried about making your neighbors angry it’s bearable.I was able to wash and dry two cars in the same amount of time it used to take me to wash and dry one car! Would recommend for any car enthusiast or someone who doesn’t have time to really metitciously clean their car!

This thing is super strong and makes drying cars extremely easy especially if there is a ceramic coating on it already the only problem with it is that it requires a lot of power and I mean a lot something above like 3,000 Watts for full strength.

Amazingly powerful warm hard air and very easy to use and maneuver around! Great customer service and even thou it’s a little pricey, I wish I would have bought it months ago!! I use it almost daily on all my cars and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Works MUCH faster and easier on all my cars over regular towel drying!!

Always hated drying my bike by hand after a wash. The Blaster takes less time and the bike looks better as well.

It looked like a nice vac but it came out of the box with serious damage. The case was dented and scratched so returned it for a full refund.

Works great on all types of vehicles and saves a lot of time. I am able to get everything dried off under the hood also after i pressure wash it. Even works great on a 90lb german shepard after her bath or when she goes out in the rain, she loves it.

Heavy duty, excellent power with either one or both motors going. With two, puts out some heat for superior blower drying for car wash rinse duty. But, be aware that both motors going will draw very close to or at 20 amps. Most household outlets are rated at 10 amps. Luckily, I intentionally wired my garage outlets for 20 amp draw.

So far, so good, after first use. Pumps out a lot of air, fairly quietly. The air itself, hitting the car, is much noisier than the blower. I did end up using ear muffs. Be careful if you’re installing or removing a “nozzle with the blowerr running. Keep the end pointed away from the car. Already learned that lesson on day one (no damage luckily). I don’t think I’ll go back to hand drying.
