Q: I have dark brown hair. If I want to get the most dramatic result (most blonde), do I pick the box for darker hair, or the one made for blondes?

You will need the box for dark hair. The one made for blondes doesn't have anything In It to lift your dark hair color in it therefore it wouldn't do anything to your hair at all, if it didn't actually give you the opposite effect and make it darker. Also if you want it as blonde as possible I reccomend shampooing with silver shampoo after you've dyed it to get rid of the brassy/orangey colors in the blonde

Q: Does this work on color treated hair or only virgin hair?

I colored my hair and it worked just fine 

Hi there, Thank you for your interest in L'Oreal Feria Wild Ombre, you are to mix 1, 2 & 3 together as instructed you may leave product on 25 to 45 minutes then you will thoroughly rinse hair and shampoo with the conditioning shampoo enclosed.
