Seems like a quality 5pin to 3pin DMX adapter
I use this to connect my 3 pin DMX devices/cable to my Onyx Touch which has a 5 pin output DMX port. That is literally the only function I use this for but performs without any issue and does what it should consistently.

DMX conversion cable
I have recently purchased an ADJ 5Z moving Head. This has a 5 pin DMX connection. All of the other fixtures have 3 Pin DMX connections. Perfect fit.

This product is exactly what it claims to be, and is the good quality Chauvet is known for. The cable heads were attached firmly without being bulky. Great for the price.
