Overall Sam is a cute die. This cuts all the parts out easily and quickly. Save lots of time.

This made fast work of cutting out applique pieces for a baby quilt. I use this die in two ways. You can back your fabric with an adhesive backing such as stitch-witchery or use the die to cut out templates from freezer paper for turn-under applique.

I have not used this yet, hoping to get sunbonnet sue on sale but having made this creature before cutting him out with cardboard templates this is great in comparison. Would suggest you back your fabric with fusible stabilizer before cutting. something like Steam a Seam lite or wonder under lite. only cut 2 or 3 at a time if you have stabilizer on the fabric and clean around designs from time to time for a clean cut. Also a Teflon pressing sheet helps to assemble Mr. Sam before applying him to your background.

Overall Sam is so cute, especially when matched with Sunbonnet Sue. One could use left over material from other projects to make coordinated outfits for the darling couple! It could be the perfect reason to purchase new material, also.

great product. Cuts down on the time to finish blocks. Adding embroidery and finishing touches can then be the focus of the quilt.

If you have Sun Bonnet Sue you have to have Overhall Sam for the balance. This is another Fabric Die that you can think out side the box with. You can turn the pants around and he can be petting a dog, picking a flower, etc. Fun.
