Star Wars The Force Awakens RC BB-8 Toy

The six year old birthday boy loved this. We put it together ahead of time so he could take it right out of the box and start to play and I would recommend doing this.The toy worked well on the hardwood floor and the carpet although it didn't go over the bump between the two very well. the head didn't fall off although he did take the head off and call it his remote control soccer ball. : )It came right on the day the seller predicted. Great seller and great toy.

Mom of the year is me! This was easy to assemble . It is durable and very kid friendly. Even my 3 year old daughter loves to play with it. I think it works better on carpet even though it works on my wood surfaces as well.

The head falls off frequently and is held on by a somewhat weak magnet. Overall, its a great toy. I got it for my 4 year old and he loves it! He can't really maneuver it yet but, its a cool toy to him anyway.

We got this for my 10 year old son for Christmas. First off, it is a great toy. It does however, have a couple of things that keep it from getting 5 stars.First and foremost is that the head does fall off from time to time. It seems to have more to do with how sporadically you use the controls. Also, for the price, I couldn't expect much more and its infrequent enough that it's not a big problem.The other issue is that you have to be somewhat careful to avoid big bumps. My son was trying to go from the kitchen floor into the living room, and hit a bump pretty hard. This caused BB-8 to stop working, and the only way to get it started again was to take the batteries out and re-insert them. This is only happened one time, and since then we've been more careful not to hit the bumps.Other than that, the toy works very well, and works exactly the way the instructions say it should. It works great on the kitchen floor tile, and it works equally as well on carpet. It's pretty amazing to watch this little thing in action. Most of the problems that I've seen complaints about are overcome by taking a little time to learn how to best control it.

We bought this for our 6yo son and he absolutely loves it! It is the perfect size and makes the cool sounds BB-8 makes! This model does not use your phone. The remote it comes with is great and was a plus because I prefer my kids to have a limited amount of screen time on a daily basis.

Ultra responsive, adorable, and fun! My husband, 9-month-old, and I adore this BB8. My cat may have other plans, however. He gives BB8 THE stink eye from across the room.
