I'm a firm believer in buying quality and reusing until impossible. These bats are a world away from the MDF soon to be landfill versions that are available at all good beach resorts. Yes you could buy 10 sets for the price of this product but why would you?The bats look great (really they are great) and feel good in the hand with decent grips. They are thicker and heavier than their cheaper cousins with a smaller playing surface.In play, things are almost entirely dependent on the ball you decide to use. The red foam job is slow and allows for effectively infinite rallying. Good for kids, beginners and a casual knock up. Then comes the real fun, trade up to the orange ball (they sell an even faster yellow variant which I've yet to try) and it's a totally different kettle of fish. The ball travels fast, if you overcook it, really fast. The bats have a defined sweet spot and hits from it are rewarded, however should you miss that you get a less certain contact that leads to some requirement for recovery play. It's possible to have some cracking rallies that take a great deal of skill to prolong. Interestingly I found mild slice allowed for much greater control.I'm getting on a bit now but I've got about 40 years of beach bat and ball behind me and can honestly say this is the best product I've played with to date. The only outstanding question for me is longevity. After a couple of weeks away they look as good as new. If they look like this in 10 years I'll be truly happy.A word of caution, you will need space to play effectively without impinging on others. Especially with the orange ball. It's easily possible to edge it and it'll still be travelling when it lands on someone!I realise this reads a bit like one of those "everything is awesome" paid for reviews. I promise it isn't. I spent my own cash on these and I'm more than happy with them.

Firstly, thank you to two46 for bringing this Brazilian game to Europe. Also, after the first order got lost along the way, the supplier reacted by quickly sending a new dispatch that arrived safely. These are easily the best beach tennis rackets I have ever had, a mile away from the usual pairs you buy at beach resorts. They are much sturdier than what you might be used to so be prepared. In my case, this aggravates an elbow injury but it's too much fun to stop. The red / beginner ball is relatively easy to control and enjoy long rallies with, even with the much smaller racket face area vs. the regular cheap beach tennis rackets. The orange ball is a bomb and will take some getting used to but cannot wait to graduate to it!

We were like kids at Christmas on the Sunday morning these arrived! Absolutely stunning bats, lovely finish, such quality craftsmanship.This is now our favourite activity - can be played in any open space without needing to set up other equipment, so it’s great for spontaneous games!The two balls are great to have - the firmer orange one takes some getting used to, and you might need a bit more space for that one, but it’s great for when you’re playing in the wind.We have already got several injuries from going full out playing this game, but mostly it just gives you cheek-ache from laughing and smiling! A great investment, when you think about how many crummy beach bats get thrown away. Very pleased!

Nicely packaged and great quality feel

Absolutely stunning Frescobol set. I spent weeks looking at different versions, but many others of the same price seemed to have something wrong with it. In a few cases, the wood split where they’d glued two different types together. Others were of a much higher price, but weren’t as beautiful as these ones. The balls are great. My partner and I plan on using the foam one when we’re playing in the garden.Of course, it’s not cheap as it’s a bit of a niche market. It’s also handcrafted and the added detail of a personal note from the seller is a lovely touch.Delivery was surprisingly fast, especially during this epidemic. I ordered it on Monday night and it arrived on Thursday afternoon. Julian was very quick and helpful when I was concerned about the delivery. Amazon claimed it was delivered on Tuesday, but that was a mishap.

Overall quality good. Small issue with one of the string at the end of one of the racket.Company got in touch with me promptly to offer a discount or alternative solutions.

There is nothing to dislike about the two46 Beach Bat Set; what you get is supreme quality, even the grip around the handle is top notch and really comfortable to hold. In the past, I have purchased cheaper products which did not stand the test of time due to warping and splitting of the wood. At the moment, we play in our garden obviously due to lockdown but cannot wait to try this game on the beach when we eventually get to visit one! The product to some browsers may appear a little pricey but, believe me, in this case and from past experience of other bats similar to these which I have bought, you really do get what you pay for. The bats are beautifully made and well finished. The balls are also of the highest quality. Thank you two46 for providing me with a wonderful product and hopefully many years of fun and laughter whilst playing this very easy game.

The balls are very different and completely change the game.Update: I had an accident with one of the bats (entirely my own fault - my dog bit into it). I messaged the sellers asking for their advice and they have been really responsive and extremely helpful with the matter. You can tell they really care about their products.
