We picked this book up for our daughter for her first puppy. It’s insightful, funny, and has great content to remind and guide owners on their journey of doggo ownership.

This book is the best! It is packed with great information in a kid friendly way, with a lot of pictures. We are getting a new puppy soon, and have kids ages 1-12. This book has everything. It discusses dogs' body language, sounds they make, how to help them adjust to a crate, step-by-step training tips with illustrations, and even recipes to make homemade dog treats. My kids are really enjoying learning so much. I'm very happy with this book and recommend it to anyone with kids and a dog.

My twins very much enjoyed this book as they were getting ready for their new puppy.It's a lot of useful information and some stuff to make the kids laugh.

I got this book for my grandson. He just got a puppy and does not know how to train it. This book is simple so he can read it and understand how to handle his puppy.

This book has all the basic information any dog owner needs. It's a wonderful resource for anyone who has a dog, yet so easy to understand as it's written for kids. It is very well written, organized with great illustrations and photos. The author's dog Kona is so fun to see in it as well. I will definitely be using this book for children's programming at my animal shelter as well.

As a school librarian of many years, I have always looked for books which gave outstanding information in an engaging manner. Ms. Moore's background supplies all the credibility I look for, and her pet partner, cartoon canine Kona , leaps off the page to give his own furry point of view and add to the fun.. Each chapter is well organized and I would recommend a family read around so that all of you can smile as you learn more about your own house pup.

I bought this book for my kids when we got out new sheepadoodle. My kids (7&9) enjoyed reading it and learned a lot about puppy training. Very accessible with helpful illustrations.
