Sturdy somewhat and attractive-functional

These are beautiful window boxes but they do not come with mounting hardware.

The planter box is nice and will look beautiful outside or home after we are finished remodeling. The planter size is large and completely made of metal. It took a ten minutes to assemble due to the awkward placement of the nuts and bolts when trying to tighten them. Overall, it was easy but time consuming. I am pleased with the finished look of the box and it will hold at least two medium sized planters and one small one. The weight of the total assembled product is surprisingly light.One thing that was slightly disappointing was the fact that it did not come with the hardware to install into the actual house, but I can understand considering some house are constructed with different materials and require different hardware. It did come with the hardware to assemble the actual box and instructions. It has two metal holes for bracing the planter box to your house or fence. Pleasantly surprised with this product.

I am extremely disappointed in the workmanship of this window box. I ordered 4 of them and they were all substandard. The dimensions of the individual parts are so off that I had difficulties to assemble them. Some welded connections have big gaps. I checked one of the boxes after just 3 days and they already exhibited rust spots.CONCLUSION: this product is badly done. It is not what I would have expected for what I paid for it. Don't buy!

I am very satisfied with this windowbox. The dimensions are deeper and taller than most and perfect for my indoor project to create a shelf above my washer and dryer while hiding the appliance plug outlets on the wall. The only problem for me is that for the price the hanging hardware could have been included. I now need to spend some time figuring what to purchase and how to hang it.

This is a heavy duty window basket, assembly was very easy just took about 5 minutes and a few screws. Looks great, works great.

I really wanted to be that reviewer that could say all the other reviews were wrong. Alas that isn't the case. This thing is a piece of crap. The welds are not complete and look awful. The caps that you are supposed to use to put this together are already screwed on the posts at the factory. Cross threaded most of them. By the time you get them off so you can assemble they are already scratched, and worn off. I had 2 that I wasn't ever able to get tight , so the whole affair is not stable. Right now the cat is laying in this, so it might be better suited to a cat bed, then a planter. Way over priced.

This comes with 4 panels that have bolts in them with caps that you take off. You assemble it, then put the caps on. That sounds easy and should be, but once the box is assembled, some of the placement makes it very hard to use the little wrench to get the caps back on. It's just tight so it takes patience and time. I could not hand screw them to any extent at all, because there was already some rust on the bolts!This box is a painted metal, and I worry that it will rust bad should it get scratched. Though I've already attached it, I might put some clear coat spray on it to try to help keep that from happening.It is lovely. My husband drilled right into the storm windows to secure it to the bottom of the window. I have it on a small 'she shed' type structure with one window on the side, and it looks lovely.It has grates on the bottom, so the bottom isn't sold. You put potted plants down inside it, and water can easily drain out.
