Really love this multi cooker!
I was a person who got an Instant Pot, thought it was fine and used it now and then, but didn't fall crazy in love with it (as some people do). But now I'm feeling that love for ChefiQ. So if you are looking for a multi cooker, I thought I would mention why ChefiQ did it for me.First, as a machine it has been easy to use/clean, well-executed, and solid. That's the "floor" of performance you should expect at this price point and they hit it in a sleek way. I've had it for a couple of months and seen no problems in that (albeit short) period of time. I would hope that the other higher end multi cookers also hit that floor. What I especially liked about ChefiQ were these elements: 1) the auto release; 2) the app & guided cooking; 3) the presets by weight. The first part might seem simple, but it was huge for me. The cooker auto releases pressure through natural, total or pulse methods with keep warm on or off. So, once you set it to release after a set period of time, it just does it. So there's no hovering around the machine to get the timing right on that. Truly, set it and forget it.The cooker connects to an app that provides a great set of recipes and guidance for guided cooking. (It is not necessary to use the app -- everything can also be done manually through a nicely designed interface.) New recipes are added weekly, though there's a lot in there already and they are pretty good. The app connects to the machine and leads you and the machine through making the recipe, including telling the machine to auto release or whatever. The app also helps you game yourself to do better. For example, if the recipe says to sear the pork chop for 3 minutes...it will also help you time 3 minutes so that you don't say "feels that 3 minutes" when in truth it has only been 1.5 minutes and you're feeling antsy. And then finally, the machine has a zillion presents for all kinds of meat, rice, vegetables, etch that can work by weight as well as other means. So if you want to put in long grain rice, poor it in, have the machine judge the weight and then set itself for the number of minutes automatically, it can. I think these are all features that will just get better and better through firmware updates over time.So if you are buying a new multi cooker or are interested in upgrading, I would strongly recommend considering this machine.

Just buy it
I’ve had this pressure cooker for about a year and it is amazing. My favorite features are:Automatic steam release. Who hasn’t been shy about releasing pressure from a cooker? The sound alone used to make me jump, even if I knew it was not going to burn me because the valve was pointed in the opposite direction. Now I just sit in the living room and listen for the appliance to release in the manner I asked it to. Ahhhhh. It does instant, intermittent and natural releases. Truly my favorite feature.Step by step instructions. Now, I don’t really need these, but it is so much fun to choose a recipe and have the app tell you what to do. Need to add a cup of water? Sure, you can add a cup of water after measuring it. But it’s so cool to see the scale tell you EXACTLY when you’ve added the right amount. I can imagine a person who has never cooked anything would love the step by step instructions even more than I do.Next, I love the app. “When will dinner be ready?” Um…. (Open app) “13 minutes and 11 seconds.” I’ll bet you can’t be that precise unless you’re using this awesome app! By the way, even if you aren’t using the pre-programmed recipes, the app still shows you what’s going on and allows you to make changes.I love being able to do almost everything in one pan. Want spaghetti? Brown the meat, sauté the vegetables, add the dry pasta and water, and it’s ready in literally a few minutes. One pot. There is no guesswork in timing. Tonight I selected sous vide, pork, pork chops, one in thick. It set the temp and time automatically and automatically selected sear when finished. This works for whatever feature and ingredient you are cooking.Sooooo many cook functions. Slow cooker, pressure cooker, sous vide, sauté, and the list goes on and on.The only feature that I wish was better is on the app. I wish there were two ways you could save recipes. Right now you can click the heart on a recipe to mark it as a favorite. I would like to see a way to add a folder for “want to try” or something similar. I look at recipes in the app and don’t know yet if they will be a favorite but definitely am interested in trying them. They all get lumped together in one folder which can be inconvenient if you use the cooker and app as much as I do. I did send a request to the company but I don’t know if it’s scheduled for an update in the future or not.I hope this helps if you’re trying to justify the investment. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but if you use a tablet or smart anything I don’t think you’ll have a problem.Bottom line? Just buy it!

Pressure cooker on steroids!
I have previously owned old school pressure cookers and most recently an Instant Pot. The Instant Pot leads to more frustration than it is worth so I decided to research pressure cooker options and stumbled across this model. Game changer!!!I am very proficient at cooking but often run short on time which is when a pressure cooker is helpful. That being said, this pressure cooker is amazing. It has an app that connects to your phone where it keeps the cook updated on the cooking process. In addition, there is a wide selection of recipes that provide step-by-step cooking instructions perfect for a new cook or someone who doesn't have time or the desire to create meals. There are a wide variety of cooking options and, it has a built in scale that can calculate cooking times based on weight. The cooker itself has a bright digital screen which is very easy to use.The cooker comes with a trivet and steamer basket. There is also an add-on WiFi cooking probe (purchased separately) that connects to the cooker and ensures perfect meat doneness. This is a bit more expensive than others; however, well worth every bit of it considering the capabilities. Highly recommend!
