Great for golf club building
I use this ruler in conjunction with 3d printed parts from another seller to make a very affordable golf club ruler. Its used for building all golf clubs and can even be used for club weight. Great product and saves me $$$ since i dont need to buy an expensive golf club ruler by itself.

I almost literally cannot live without this!
Years ago I bought one of these Swanson Tool AE142 48-Inch Straight Edge (Yellow) rulers at a big-box store and used it all the time, especially for marking lines on 4'x8' materials. Unfortunately it was misplaced in a recent move. I ordered a new one through Amazon because the "specialists" at the local building supply stores just gave me a blank look when I asked whether they carried anything similar. I've already put it to extensive use, and am happy to have one again!

Yellow Ruler Rules
I don't know how anyone gets through life without yellow metal rules, especially these big ones. Lost my originals due to unhelpful relatives, so I was really glad to find these on Amazon. Had to do an intensive search to find the yellow ones, so seller might want to include a few more helpful key words in the description, 'yellow' being one of those. Yellow is undeniably easier to find in your house or workshop when you need it. My cat hides my stuff, I'm convinced. These solid, stiff rules are so much easier to measure with in some spots than tape measures. [Elder Knowledge]

Bright yellow - seems sturdy
I bought this as a gift. Was very surprised when it showed up FedEx delivery completely separate from all my other purchases in the same order in a humongous Lowes box packed full of air cushions. The yardstick itself seemed to be exactly what I wanted, but the packaging was a huge waste of resources.
