I have an underlying health issue and I tend to roll my ankle a lot. When I do, this provides excellent support to get me over the pain and back on my way to walking normally. I usually use it with a mid-top shoe for extra support. I am able to got for pretty long distances when wearing this, but I will take it off and ice my ankle afterwards. Overall, it works well and provides stability yet range of motion. It you have a broken ankle, you need something more supportive, but during recovery, this should help.

Husband sprained his ankle and this helped so much. Let it air out (stinks at first). It fits inside his tennis shoes so it as to not draw attention. Very easy to put on and provides great stability.

This is a good, comfortable ankle stabilizer. Really helped me recover from a medium sprain. Was able to wear it with tennis shoes, just loosen up the strings a bit.

This is a medium support ankle brace. I ordered two, one for each ankle, and one of them arrived with the ankle band unstitched. I was going to send that one back, but then I realized that part of the item is actually on necessary and cut out the one on the other one.These are adjustable and provide a decent amount of support. I am having issues with the drop foot and during the day these provide Enough support for me. However, after wearing them for too many hours it digs in the bottom of my feet and feels like it is cutting off the circulation to my toes a bit. Even when I don’t have them tighten very tight, it is just the way they are designed to put the pressure on the bottom of your foot. I would not recommend wearing these at night as they were really Di enough support for me. I have been wearing them every day for weeks and they seem to be holding up well.

I broke and dislocated my ankle in May of 2024, and have been dealing with the after effects ever since. I am currently in college which requires a lot of walking to and from my classes. My ankle was killing me after this semester started, so I ordered this hoping it would somewhat ease the pain. This thing is AWESOME at supporting the ankle and making sure that it stays in position. It is quite heavy duty, though, and bulky so don't be expecting to fit it under some high tops or boots. It can be annoying to get a shoe around it, but it doesn't move during the day after the initial adjustment. 10/10 recommend for unstable ankles/post ankle surgery.

One size fits most is accurate. Too big for my foot and I wear a woman’s 7.5. I did stitch the cloth a little tighter so is usable but not my go to one.

I wear a size 10.5 in Women's shoes and my feet are pretty wide. I was having a hard time locating an ankle wrap that fit my foot and needed something sturdy to wrap my ankle (sprained it after falling on the ice). This was comfortable, sturdy and protected my ankle. It also provided some compression so the swelling was maintained. It's kind of thick so you may not be able to wear a sock or tennis shoes over it. I wore slippers at home and sandals in the office while I wore it.

Nothing should take the place of rest and recovery but after feeling better about putting weight on my ankle after rolling it, I decided to choose this ACE brand ankle brace. This one has the plastic support inserts that are sewn in that run alongside the ankles which I like. I am happy with this brace and use it for when I am exercising and need that added support. I have another brace that is just neoprene and velcro and use that one more for compression, support and to keep warm while doing normal non-exercise low-impact activities.
