Yummy !!!
I first ate this butter on my cruise to Alaska and it is fabulous! I didn't know what brand it was so I asked one of the chefs on board, he found the package and when I got home of course Amazon was my choice to order it and there it was. It is great on toast, muffins, hot vegetables and fabulous for corn on the cob. It is sweet and creamy and just as I said "yummy".

Not impressed with the taste and manufacture date which is 24/01/2013
First of all I would like to rate the delivery which was fast. The butter was well packed and insulated. When my butter arrived, it was cold and firm. However the butter itself was manufactured on 24/01/2013. I ordered it in December 2013. So the butter that arrived is almost one year old. I am not sure if I am ok with that. I can buy organic Valley limited addition butter from grass fed cows at my local store that is made in October and November 2013.Now I come back to the taste of the butter. I am sorry I was not impressed with the taste of the butter. After I read about the New Zeland Anchor butter, I was expecting something unbelievably delicious. Not the case. The taste of this butter was missing richness and flavor. The taste is more water like. The color of real butter should be more deep yellow or orange. The Anchor butter is light yellow. I buy Amish butter at my local farmers market that is much tastier and yellow.I gave this product 3 stars because it came from grass fed cows and shipping was excellent. Nevertheless I am not sure if I order this again because I am not impress with the taste and manufacture date.

Somewhat sour tasting note
There is a somewhat sour note to this butter, that is not in Kerrygold. (I ordered on Amazon and the butter arrived well packed, cold, and firm. Ice packs were still hard.)However, Kerrygold cows do eat grain in the winter (as I understand it currently).Anchor cows (again, as I understand it currently) are 100% grass fed. There are 100% grass fed non homogenized milks available if you can find them. For example, Organic Valley Grassmilk, available as whole (~3.5%), 2%, and 0%. Remember to shake the carton before pouring as the fats will settle on top.

Great taste, grass-fed
I discovered this delicious butter from grass-fed cows in, of all places, Central America. (I think Guatemala was the first place I enjoyed it.) And now that unsalted Kerrygold is hard to find in the US, even at Whole Foods, I order this butter through Amazon. It's a must for "Bulletproof" coffee. It arrived packed in a ziploc bag inside a small cooler with those frozen plastic bags around it -- in perfect condition and faster than expected. So I have nothing but good things to say about the product and the seller. Will definitely buy more soon.

Anchor Butter Unsalted
This butter is definitely worth the money......this product is much more yellow and has a better butter texture than other organic butters.......one of the things going for it is that it is from New Zealand, which has year round good weather to graze cattle. This butter reminds me of what butter tasted like when I was a little kid, before the big commercial production farms took over.....I would definitely recommend you give this product a try.!

THIS is butter.
Excellent flavor. This product is wrapped in foil so it doesn't have that wax paper taste predominant in store-bought brands. Also doesn't have that "old" taste most butter seems to have. I understand this has a higher fat content than USA butter. If it sits out at room temperature it doesn't soften or melt down. It stays firm. Was shipped in perfect condition. I'll never go back to that old tasting store-bought garbage they call butter. THIS is butter the way it should be.
