Impressive - Worked Perfectly !!
Product was as described. Perfectly functional. Caught my mouse on the first try! I believe my extensive research paid off as I applied what I learned. Prior to use, three nights in a row, I left various food crumbs on the floor where the mouse was known to have traveled (they tend to return to the same spots). A dab of peanut butter on a small piece of bread is really all it takes. Ultimately, I baited the trap with Peanut Butter (on bread), Jam (on bread), a crushed Cashew and a crumble of Bacon. Very small amounts of each. This mouse was livin' large on it's last morning in my kitchen cabinet resort lol. Happily, I relocated it to a local park. Success!! No matter which method you use, It's best to be successful on the first try as these rodents can learn and they might not go near the same type trap that "almost" got them.

Best Chipmunk Trap On the Market
Chipmunks are notoriously hard to get rid of, but this trap is the easiest solution. We've caught 4 chipmunks so far, easily and within a day or two of setting the trap with a tablespoon of peanut butter sprinkled with some brown sugar and trail mix. The trap is super easy to set and easily triggered, with a few exceptions (like a squirrel escaping with the bait.) When you do capture a chipmunk, try to limit the time they're trapped in the cage to as short as possible. When they're inside, they thrash with a surprising amount of force which can damage the trap and stress the little guy so that you might not have a live release. This trap did end up breaking for us after the 4th chipmunk was caught (and a squirrel tampered with it) but it's so good that we are buying another one and will only use this exact one going forward. Highly recommend!

Someone really did build a BETTER MOUSETRAP!
After a few horrific experiences with the snap traps (humane my a**) I bought a "live trap" and this one is PERFECT. I caught my little friend less than an hour later after leaving it set with small chunks of cheese. The trap is simple to use, feels very durable, and quite roomy. The little critter was perfectly safe and unharmed, only frightened about being trapped, as any rodent would be under the circumstances. I in the photo you'll see I put a piece of cardboard on the floor of the trap because I wasn't sure the rat would like walking on the wire cage both. Not sure it made a difference. The one downside: my first time using it I wasn't sure how to decant the rat into a container where it could stay until I had time to release it the next morning. I placed the opening in a small (one gallon) bucket and opened the trap door to drop the rat into the bucket, and with lightening speed he shot past the opening, jumped out of the small bucket and ran across my dining room floor and disappeared, delighted to be free. That wasn't the fault of the trap but the human (me). You can leave the rat in the cage until you can set it free, or try using a much larger bucket with a lid - 5 gallons minimum - and practice how you will release the rodent in the bottom of the bucket so it can't jump out.I guess the trap still worked, in that the rat hasn't returned since then (a week ago). If he comes back I'll be ready.

The SOLUTION to your rodent issues
We started hearing scrabbling, chewing noises from underneath our mobile home this winter. As the skirting was all snowed in, we had to wait for the first thaw to inspect things. As there was clearly a sign of rodent habitation, we ordered one of these, smeared the bait tray with peanut butter, and hoped for the best. Within two short weeks, we had caught three mice, and one very angry rat. It seemed like every two or three days we would have another capture that we could release back into the woods MILES away from our home. We kept the trap baited and armed for another week, just to be sure, but it looks like this trap had totally solved our rodent issue, with no harm done to rodents or people. We absolutely recommend this trap. We’re frankly amazed how well it worked.

Look no further
The small trap is perfect for chipmunks.. Caught 5 chipmunks in 2 days...Went behind my shed this morning and was surprised to see a squirrel in there.. No chance of escape. For 18 bucks, this trap is very solid. You simply drop the trap in a 5 gallon bucket of water, and the pest is humanely drowned and ready for your compost pile. Chipmunks are ground squirrels and can undermine the foundation of your house if an infestation occurs. I am taking no chances...This is a fantastic trap and works without fail.
