Fantastic Mixer From A Generous Company
I love this product from Presonus. How many times do you feel great about the company you buy a product from? Not all that often. PreSonus just does it all the right way. Besides it being a great mixer for music, Podcasting, anything you want to throw at it, they give you so much free software it is absolutely incredible. They are generous it's incredibly well priced, and I absolutely love that it is also pretty easy to use. Good tech support when needed too. Great company and a great product.

This device is ideal for multi track home studio.
It’s easy to use. Stable on PC (which is rare). Highly versatile. I am using it to record and mix at 96 k. I tried all the other usb hybrid mixers and this is the most ideal for my use.

Works great until it doesn't
I have purchased over seven of these for the production of a TV show that I do for my son. He was seven when he started. Every six to nine months the unit starts to act up and then dies. I try to return it to the company and then it is gone for months and then I get it back and it might run for a month or two more. in the mean time I cannot be down. I have a show to produce every week so I have to go and buy yet another one. Here is the kicker. IT IS A GOOD BOARD when it works so I keep having to buy it. So if you want a good mixer it is great. but if you want it to last. this is not the best solution. Now this new one I bought this week. Is already turning off by itself and it has only been a week. So I gotta go back to tech support and I bet they are going to want me to mail it in again. I can't have downtime. My studio runs 4 days a week.

Excellent mixer
I use this mixer to record and edit my own and clients’ podcasts. It works flawlessly. This is my second PreSonus mixer as I upgraded from the AR12 to the AR12c.

Non-functional and Untrustworthy
I bought this for multi-track recording of podcasts and some music. The sound level knobs and mute buttons for each input did nothing. Also on multiple occasions while recording, it just stopped working randomly and I lost a lot of content. I had high hopes after reading reviews, but I can't use this for anything going forward. Complete waste if money.

All good except the short stupid little 2 ft usb-c cable
Came in good condition, however I was extremely disappointed in the very small 39 inch USB-c cable 😒. At a minimum this should ship with a 10ft cable IMO. So far this is my only criticism.

Great until it stops working
I really liked this mixer and used it daily until it quit working after 2.5 years. I never moved it and it was never abused. Customer service says it's out of warranty, which is true, but 2.5 years seems like a short life for a supposedly quality piece of gear. It's hundreds of dollars to repair, so its time to move on from Presonus. I would avoid buying from this company.
