The quality is flawless, and if you happen to already have genuine Amass connectors on your equipment, these will fit perfectly.The positive terminal is two-stage, with the first portion of the connection being routed through a 5.6 ohm resistor, and the second portion being a direct connection. The first portion starts the power flow and equalizes the voltage, then the second portion provides full power with no resistance. There is no resistor between the positive and negative sides, so there is no additional battery drain or load. The negative terminal is solid with no resistor. The seller ships item packaged with care and exactly as described, and I will be using these from now on for all my projects.

Great service, quick shipping! The connectors are really snug to fit so I would definitely connect/disconnect the +/- a bunch before soldering anything so that the connectors clip in and out a lot smoother... or at the very least, I'd recommend connecting the +/- sides before soldering the wires for these. But overall, no defects, well made and now I can run some high-current batteries with 10g wire, no problem! Running 34V (combined in series) with 9700 mAh/each battery and the connectors do not "pop" or get hot (the traxxas connectors MELTED!) like the TRX connectors I had originally on my X-Maxx.

This is exactly what I needed for my eBike. I don’t have a proper way to switch on and off my battery power reliably so I simply unplug my 52v battery when I’m done riding. The motor controller must have some large capacitors in it or something because when I hook up the battery there used to be a huge spark on my Anderson connectors, these were exactly what I needed and completely solved the spark issue. Not even a small spark is seen. I highly recommend these connectors for any eBike. They are snug but not too snug like others have mentioned.

XT90 connectors are genuine Amass with gold plating. Suggest that you keep heat moderate when soldering to prevent connector shroud from melting. This is not a product defect as you’re working with large gauge wire and you need a certain amount of heat to solder the wire to the connector. Worked fine for me.

These are really good quality XT90 connectors that I purchased for my solar generator build. I must admit that I have had problems soldering XT60 and XT90 connectors in the past. So, I purchased an ‘Aluminum Soldering Jig’ from Amazon and now I have perfect soldered joints every time. I am sure I will be ordering more.

These are awesome plugs. They’re anti-spark which is must for me with big voltage batteries. They come with caps for the end and the connections are a breeze to solder. I’ve switched almost all of my batteries over to these plugs. They handle huge discharge rates.

I've been using XT60 and XT30 for years and watched the design steadily improve. This latest addition of professional solder joint covers is, perhaps, the best improvement yet. Very professional final results.

First time I used the XT90 with anti spark. I found out about this product when someone commented about anti spark XT90S connector in YouTube. I immediately ordered 5 pairs and I'm impressed! The spark that happens every time I connect my old XT90 connector on my e-bike is gone. And the thing is, the improvement was done without adding any bulk on the connector. It's the same size as the old one, only the green marking. Just make sure it's plugged all the way in to avoid partial connection that can cause heat on the connector.

Why bother with shrink wrap when you can use these with spark arrestors that cover up the exposed wire. Make sure you use the silicone coated wire as it resists the heat from the high current 2s-8s lipo batteries can produce. I used 10 gauge awg wire and it was very snug in the solder point. I would no try larger than 10 and 12 seems to be perfect.

These are good all around connectors to use on any job. They connect without any sparking andhandle a good amount of amperage. For small jobs there are little brother XT60These make a good tight connection and I prefer them to the anderson style plugs.I use them on all my hobby and ebike builds and have no issues.I recommend XT90 Anti Spark connectors to protect your expensive controllers and batteries.

Bought these before and just can't have enough on hand. High quality anti spark connectors at a great price and quick delivery. Will buy again as soon as I run out.

The anti-spark function works great - completely eliminates the huge spark I used to get connecting together my previous AMASS XT-90 connectors. I've switched all my connectors over to these now. On a side note, the Anti-Spark XT90 does not mate well with the regular version - they can be forced together, but they are VERY difficult to separate again. Use both pairs from an anti-spark package or the regular package, do not mix.
