I am blessed to have Dr. Montecalvo as my Optometrist. I am 50 years old and was born with a lazy eye and therefore I suffered from a number of difficulties mentioned in this book. Due to the fact I did not get treatment as a child, my visual system did not improve and it became a bigger issue for me once I got older. Thanks to going through Dr. Montecalvo's vision therapy program and applying the principles in her book, my reading ability, comprehension skills, and handwriting have improved. I am buying an extra copy of her book to give to a friend who has a child with visual difficulties. This book is helpful for people of all ages!
