Fantastic.
All I hoped for and well worth the price. Note that the king and queen are somewhat oversized in comparison with the other pieces, so if you are gauging what sized board to get, it's probably better to have the royals a bit crowded in their spaces than have the pawns absolutely swallowed by theirs.

A wonderful reminder of seeing the originals in Scotland!
My only criticism is that out of the 78 or so pieces discovered, this set only recreates a small number of those & the dark & light opposing pieces are identical. I was hoping, because of the cost, that they would each have different pieces. In any case, it is a lovely set that I have displayed in my Library on a 17" chess board.
