Andoer Leather Ligature Fastener with Plastic Cap for Tenor Sax Saxphone Bakelite Mouthpiece

I bought this because I wanted a single-screw ligature but couldn't justify spending the cost on a Rovner. It's definitely got that weird cheap factory pleather smell to it but it does its job well and stays secure for my entire practice routine. The cap's cheap plastic but it fits great and is easy to use - I could definitely take it off or put it on one handed on a dark stage no problem. Overall I think this is worth the money and will definitely be my go-to ligature until it breaks, or until I upgrade to a more expensive model.Mouthpieces I have tested this on and confirmed it fits:-Yamaha 4c Tenor mouthpiece (standard series - the $30 one off Amazon)-Jean Paul factory mouthpiece that comes with their TS-400 student sax.

so eazy to use and the seal between the table of the mouthpiece & the reed is locked in with little effort. My other ligiture had no protective cap either and I enjoy the extra security protecting the reed. I'm using this new gear with my Yamaha 4C mouthpiece. I would reccomend.

Bought this to replace the one that came broken on a cheap POS sax I got off Amazon.

The ligature is easy to use and seems to hold the reed in place nicely. For some reason, I get a very muffled sound with it though. Tried it with different mouthpieces, and always the same problem. The cheap 2 screw ligature that came with the horn works fine. So I'm sticking with that for now.

This ligature is "The Bomb" for the money. Ask Jay Metcalf, The ligature has very little to do with the sound it merely holds the reed in place.
