In honesty, when I first browsed about this product, I was a bit skeptical in regards to the suction power of the item, since there are significant amount of people mentioning that the suction power is not sufficient or strong enough. Yet, upon using it for myself, a recently new mother with a little girl, the device itself works perfectly for its purpose. The suction is not too strong for a good reason. It doesn't feel like milk is being forcefully pumped out and it feels comfortable. It is a bit of a tedious procedure to pump the milk out, but it is somewhat rewarding in the end. 😊In terms of cleaning, it is simply done and I appreciate the simplicity of the device. In addition, it is easy to use. Once putting the device together, just place it gently against the area and just use the handle. It will take a few tries, but it does work. Just make sure it is centered.Hope this review helps someone in the long run when they are looking for a pump. ♥️

I’ve had this pump for about 3 months now and it works a treat. The instructions were very clear and direct, although it did take me a few tries to get used to it. It’s very easy to dismantle for cleaning/storage.Because it’s a manual pump, it can be very time-consuming. If you have a tight schedule I’d recommend an electric pump so you can pump and do things at the same time, otherwise you’ll be sitting pumping for half an hour just to get a couple ounces at a time!

Don't get me wrong, manual pumps will always be more time consuming but also thinking of cost I wasn't willing to spend £200 on a electric pump(decent ones). I was only planning on breast feeding for 3-4 months.Whenever I had the time to pump, I dreaded having to sit there pumping what seemed like forever? Just to get about 1 or 2 oz. After getting the hang of it and pumping slowly with harsher sections and more supply, I was able to pump up for 3 or 4 oz.It is a good product and easy to use, clean but if you are breastfeeding for longer I would recommend electric. We use tomme tippe bottles and my daughter has had no issues with them.

I purchased this to enable me to try expressing however it is uncomfortable on the breast but more so on my wrists and hands when pumping and subsequently I wouldn’t produce much milk.It does come with a bottle and lid and it is a cheap way to do pumping however I ended up purchasing a hospital grade pump (not hands free!) which was much easier, less stressful and more comfortable all round!

Thought I'd give this a go as my first pump to see how I get on fully expecting to want to buy an electric one for a better flow but I was pleasantly surprised to find it comfortable and be able to express 75ml in 10 minutes (5 minutes in each side)It's really easy to put together and clean as I didn't want to worry about cleaning tubes etc.So far so good and no longer looking for a much more expensive electric pump though I have only used it a handful of times so far....

very slow and time consuming to get out just 2ml. Ended up going out to get a different one

Love this little gadget!After using this manual breast pump for over four weeks, I can conclude that it does what is says on the tin. I was sceptical to use this as i brought it for £18 and was contemplating getting a more expensive one but I’m glad I saved my money. It’s easy to use and clean and is just a great simple breast pump. I did invest in the tommee tippee electric one and it isn’t as good (battery doesn’t last that long) and now it’s lost in a drawer somewhere. It does however hurt your hand after a while but I swop my hands half way through and it’s much better. Definitely a life saver!!!
