My FAVORITE Moisturizer!! Bring it Back!
I have tried countless moisturizers over the years and this one has been my holy grail. I have sensitive combination skin and also have to find products that are FA safe. This moisturizer checks all those boxes and my skin absolutely loves it. It has never irritated me and feels lightweight on the skin but is also hydrating. I apply it at night and in the morning under my makeup. It is very versatile and gentle. I wish ELF didn't discontinue it. I would do anything for this moisturizer to come back!! ELF PLEEEAAASEEE start selling this godsend again!

No Fragrance, Great Texture
There doesn't seem to be any standardized definition of what a product will be like if it is sold as a "gel cream". I ordered three different gel cream products at the same time to try, including this one, and all three were vastly different from one another. This Elf product ended up of the three to being the most like I had imagined a gel cream to be. It is sort of like jelly in the jar. It liquifies in the fingers almost instantly, though, so it's easy to apply. It also absorbs easily and doesn't stay sticky at all.It does well with my eczema-prone skin, which is tricky when it comes to ingredients like niacinamide and squalene. It's the centella asiatica that made me even consider this, which is like a dream for my skin, along with the fact that there is no fragrance whatsoever.Overall, this makes a really nice light nighttime moisturizer for me for the summer!

Great for warmer seasons !
I started using this moisturizer in the summer, and it was perfect. I love the way it makes my face feel, it’s a super fun texture, and a little goes a long way. I’ve had mine for probably 2-3 months now, and I still have about 1/4 of the container left. The product also is a little cool, so it is very soothing to the face. However, as winter as been stringing along and the wind is cold and the air is dry, my face is not very moist. For the summer and fall it’s great, I wouldn’t recommend this product for winter use if you are a person with drier skin.

Love it!
I have crazy sensitive skin like you wouldn't believe. Just insanely reactive to anything and everything, so finding a moisturizer that 1) doesn't contain stuff that'll make it angry is hard and 2) is going to be the texture and consistency that I want is very difficult. Stuff like CeraVe and Cetaphil are great options for sensitive skin! But all they seem to have are creams, and I do nottttt like that feeling on my skin at all. Feels like sunscreen. So I really enjoy the almost-aloe vera-like consistency of this e.l.f. moisturizer. I also feel comfortable with the proce point lol. There's nicer brands like Laneige I've tried sample sizes of that I've loved, but would be made poor by if I bought them consistently. The only unexpected downside to this moisturizer is that it is sticky to the touch while it's drying/settling in to your skin. I didn't like it at first, but then I realized I shouldn't be touching my face ANYWAY and made myself get over it.

Not for dry skin, as other reviews have stated.
To preface this, I have combination skin and live in the northeast, so we experience all seasons. I naturally get more dry skin in the fall/winter, but I don't have particularly dry skin in general. The consistency is like jello, which is a little weird at first but it does easily melt into your skin. When it is applied, my face that sits under my mask stays dewy all day. I think this is what some people are referring to when they say their face feels sticky, but I wouldn't quite describe it as that and it doesn't really bother me in my case. However, just my forehead can be left feeling tight and more dried out, requiring me to reapply throughout the day - which I'd say defeats the purpose of a super hydrating moisturizer.Overall I haven't had any issues with it, it'd probably be nice as a summer moisturizer. But is definitely not super or hydrating.

My hurry up and moisturize Go To
At 50, we go through a process of skin care. Wash, exfoliate , dry, tone , blah blah blah….. I love love love the Elf superhydrate because sometimes I don’t have time for the whole “routine” in the morning. It’s hot as Satan’s a$$ crack in Dallas at times so this is great to hydrate, cool, and moisturize without that cream “feel” that makes you sweat and feel greasy when it’s 171 degrees outside. The feel is weird I’ll admit. Kind of a slime feel if you have kids or grandkids and have felt that. Doesn’t take much but the gel hydrates amazingly , dries quickly but leaves face smooth and moisturized without the whole 12 step program many of us women go through at morning/night for our skin. This is one of those staples I keep on hand and prefer it over hydro boost and some other more expensive brands from ulta. Give it a shot!!

Bring her back, please!! There is no other.
Please bring this back :( This is my go-to moisturizer and is the only thing I've found to meet my needs. I've used it for about 2 years and have found no equivalent. It moisturizes my skin, has a wonderful texture without any residual greasiness, and it was perfect for night and day. PLEASE e.l.f!!

Replacing my Hydro Boost moisturizer
First, let's get the texture out of the way - this is a JELLY. A little off-putting at first but it melts into your skin like any other gel product. That said, this is going to replace my HG moisturizer, Neutrogena Hydro Boost. I feel like it does a much better job at actually moisturizing, has a nice smooth finish, sits under makeup nicely, and is lightweight. Most importantly, it doesn't have fragrance. I have super super sensitive skin and fragrance generally irritates my skin or breaks it out. I haven't had any breakouts since switching to this moisturizer.Best of all, the price point is better. Not MUCH better, but the Hydro Boost inflation is ridiculous. 17 bucks? Nah. I'm glad they jacked up the price so much that I went looking elsewhere, because this fits the bill much better overall.
