As others have said, I don't know why I waited so long to buy one of these great little inventions! The Litter Genie Plus Cat Litter Disposal System with Odor Free Pail System, White makes life so much easier and my kitties' litter boxes so much cleaner. Before, I had to find a plastic bag, make sure it didn't have any holes in it, scoop the used litter into the bag, take the bag outside..now I just scoop and I'm finished. Whenever I walk upstairs or downstairs (I purchased a second one after buying the first to celebrate my oldest cat's 23rd birthday(!)), I take a moment to scoop the used litter into the Litter Genie, leaving cleaner litter for the kitties AND for me.The refill cartridge is genius. It's so easy to cut the bag when it's time to dispose of it and to tie a knot in the next one. I wish I'd thought of this concept myself.If you're reading these reviews, you're on the fence. No need to be. It took me 23 years; don't you waste another minute. BUY IT! Your cat(s) will thank you, and you will not regret your purchase. :)EDIT 7-16-13: If you're thinking that it might be too stinky to switch bags when it's time (that was my fear), I can tell you that it isn't! The bag is cut off right after opening the lid to pull the bag out, and is not off-putting at all.

The Litter Genie is an excellent product for disposing of litter. There is no smell and the bags hold a lot.

Litter genie refills, pretty self-explanatory. The durability of the bags is very high and can fit a good amount of litter/waste inside.

Let's be real-we may love our cats but nobody really likes cleaning cat litter. This is a family website so I'll just say that it's gross, but necessary. A friend told us about the litter genie litter disposal system, and we have fullyl adopted it. Dirty litter is deposited into the bags that are placed into a canister, and once they are full they are easily disposed of. Let's owners keep the cat litter clean without constantly having to change the litter. The litter box is cleaner and less smelly, and makes the cats happier and healthier.I do have some issues with the canister itself, around ease of use and cleanliness, but this review is for the refill bags. They work fine, except that on a couple of occasions (over 8 years of use) the liner did not pull out or dispense properly and I ended up with double thickness for the bags. It was a problem but not a major one, and so I recommend this product.

I love the Litter Genie. It saves me a dozen trash bags a week, and makes the cat's bathroom smells better. The cartridge has good enough design, and the pull down bags are thick and great quality. It takes a minute to remove the litter filled bag, and install the new one.The only complaint I have are the cartridges are a bit expensive. My cat is very active and produce a lot. So a genie cartridge definitely does not last two months. But that's not a flaw in the product itself. So I still give this a 5 star. Another thing I haven't figure out is when the bag would run out. I don't keep track, or I lost track all the time. So I do cheat by using regular 13 gallon bags in the Litter Genie. Using the garbage bags is a good way to save, and it's always well stocked at home (if not, grocery bags can be used though a bit short). But the garbage bags are much thinner, get caught in the divider sometimes, does not shield odor as well, and cost a few minutes to install. So I still purchase the refill cartridge from Amazon. Because I'm not sure when the included bag would run out, I keep the empty cartridge ring and use it with garbage bags when I run out of included bags.Here's how I use the cartridge ring and included bags:Follow direction to install bag. Tie the bottom of the bag with a rubber band.Here's how I use garbage bags:Open up garbage bag. Install bag similar to original bag with the opening wrapped around the cartridge ring. Add a rubber band to secure garbage bag around the cartridge below the black top.One thing I do pay special attention to is when I install/remove bags on the Genie, I always wear disposable gloves. I remove litter and replace bags every week, but don't wash the Genie every week. Because there's no way to avoid litter coming into contact with the pail, I always try to play safe.

I had tge bag upside down at first. The clear instructions helped fix my problem.

Tried a few cheaper imitations but no comparison, these are amazing , down side the time they take to arrive . Can not fault these ...no smell and last ages

Good substitute for original bin bags . Unfortunately they are slidly too expensive but they are doing theirs job . Would recommend

Tengo ya 3 años usando Litter Genie y la verdad es que me ha facilitado mucho el cuidado de mis gatos. Puede que los repuestos sean "caros" pero vale la pena al no tener ni un solo desagradable olor en casa. Con 9 gatos y viviendo en un departamento debo de echar mano de lo mejor para mantener los olores a raya y esto es definitivamente lo mejor de lo mejor.

Desde que adquirí el Litter Genie Plus se hizo muy sencillo el almacenaje de los desechos de mis felinos, es complicado este tema debido a que esperar a que pase el recolector de basura, en ocasiones pueden ser de días y no es recomendable almacenarlos con la basura normal ni dejarlos por ahí en bolsitas individuales.
